“After an extensive search for the perfect pair of Blue & White Ginger jar lamps, I finally found them at Asian Barn's online store. I spoke with Sam who was so kind and helpful. He did a beautiful job of shipping them to my home in Tennessee and they arrived in pristine condition, which is not always the case with fragile items these days. Sam was delightful to work with and the lamps are both gorgeous and unique. Asian Barn definitely deserves 5 stars and I would give them 10 if I could!”

“Working with Suzanne and Atmosphere was fantastic. Despite having many projects underway, Suzanne was always available (and clearly loved) the design process. She was patient and super-responsive in dealing with all the little details that came up. She and her crew incorporated a TON of functionality into our tiny kitchen, and came up with a beautiful, compact design for our small bathroom. She really looked at each project both from a livability perspective (how would we use it everyday) as well as from an aesthetic design perspective. We would be thrilled to work with her again in the future but for now will be enjoying our beautiful spaces!”

“Ordered a sofa online and chose to pay for the optional furniture assembly service with delivery - so worth it. My delivery was scheduled for about 3 days after purchase which was perfect timing. Futonland was communicative and confirmed the delivery window with me within a day of purchase, and the delivery came within the scheduled window. The furniture assembly was fast, about 30 min and the delivery folks were very kind. Super happy with my purchase and experience.”

“I have to laugh -- a “reviewer” named Eva Melin-Gompper below billed herself as “an antique expert” – which means she’s 100 years old; but what she meant to say is that she’s an “antiques” expert. However, if she was, she would realize Olde Good Things are not overpriced at all, as she claims. As a matter of fact, as salvagers you can say some of their pieces are flawed, but their prices are very reasonable. Check 1st Dibs and Charish, or any of the auction houses, to know what “overpriced” really means. Here you get what you get, and since you never know what that might be, the stores are fantastic for the thrill of the hunt, which is what antiquing is all about. Olde Good Things salvages materials from buildings being demolished or refurbished, including hotels, office buildings, etc., as well as creates new items out of reclaimed metals, woods, and other materials. This is a place where many truly unique finds are to be had. They have a spectacular array of lighting and fixtures, if only I had high ceilings. They also carry endless amounts of hardware, including doorknobs, and I bought vintage art deco glass ones here years ago. I bought five pieces of furniture from the two stores in Manhattan to reorganize my apartment during the past two years, and I am thrilled with all of them. They have imperfections and they weren’t cheap, but this isn’t a thrift store; it’s an antiques and salvage dealer. The stores on West 52 Street and upper Broadway are two of my favorite places to hunt, and even though I now have no more room for anything, I’ll still be looking!”

“We recently had what I would call a relatively complicated installation completed through NY City Blinds. We had 10 shades installed; 9 of the 10 were installed side by side and around two corners. The experience working with our design consultant Tommy and the results were excellent. The outcome was exactly what we expected and wanted. Based on past experience, we always expect a few hiccups the larger and more complicated the job. That’s where customer service comes in. In one case a shade may have been cut by a fraction of an inch too long to fit seamlessly into the row of 9 side by side shades. Tommy responded immediately without resistance and resolved the issue quickly to our complete satisfaction. Subsequently, we recommend NY City Blinds and Tommy both for the quality of their product and their customer service. In summary, our experience has been, the product is high quality and that for NY City Blinds customer satisfaction is paramount”

“It was so much fun! Honestly it's really helpful to have the classes because recipes I thought would be challenging the classes show you they are simple. Chef Danny is really good at explaining things and making the class fun. It doesn't hurt they give 10% discount to buy items in the store after class.”

“This is an incredible establishment. I went to purchase a new pool cue and was absolutely blown away. The store is filled with custom made pool tables, a huge selection of cues, dart equipment, backgammon tables etc. Will helped me select a stick that I felt comfortable with and was able to answer every question. Really helpful and made me feel at ease. They had a table to let me test out different sticks and then let me play a couple games. Thanks again to Will and Carmelo — go check this place asap!”

“I went here to buy a stroller/ car seat. It's a family owned business located at 95 St and Amsterdam. There was a large selection of all types of baby products. The guy who helped me was very knowledgeable and he recommended the perfect stroller/ car seat. They have a rewards program too which you can use in store to deduct $$ off your purchase.
