“Amazing food and friendly staff. You will never believe having pancake taco/sandwich like dish. The amazing flavor made up for my suspicious feeling if something can taste so good. Steak was cooked amazingly with flavor, just bland meat. The mixture of spice and sweet made for a unique blend and style that I couldn't ever place again. The only knock would be price, however the food is way worth it.”

“Super fun place to grab a glass of wine or a beer. The small bites are good. I do wish they had a few more options but what they have is pretty good. Drink list is pretty extensive. The staff is friendly and make you feel welcomed as a local. Seating is comfortable but a little tight. Come in, grab your seat, then order from the bar. Easy relaxed layer back spot for happy hour drinks!”

“I've only recently started attending classes here and so far it's great! For two months leading up to starting (around the peak of the pandemic) Jorge always made himself available to answer any questions I had about joining. Gave me all the tools I needed to start my first day properly. Which definitely matter when it comes to knowing what to buy, what to bring, what to prepare for. The more you know prior to your first lesson, the easier of a time you'll have once you take that first step! Learning to defend yourself and your loved ones is an invaluable skill. So doing what you can to ensure that happens should come at any cost. Luckily, the prices for starting classes are very reasonable. And the space itself used for training is maintained well and spacious enough for social distancing and general training. I can't think of any reason why I couldn't recommend Jorge and his classes to anyone looking to train in the art of Brazilian Jujitsu.”

“Nice comic book shop convenient to transportation on the east side. There are two entrances to this upstairs shop; one is stairs and the other has an elevator. Staff here is super friendly and helpful. Large book selection; back issue selection is okay but no where near as extensive as the Astoria outlet.”

“Capoeira Guatambu is amazing!! It’s more than just a Brazilian martial art and dance, it’s a supportive community where anyone regardless of age, gender, nationality, profession, etc can join and feel welcome and at home. Profesor Gordhino is a phenomenal teacher. He cultivates a space of integrity and respect while pushing each student to continue to exceed their limits. I train here three times a week. It’s an oasis amidst the hustle and bustle of NYC life. If you’re contemplating checking out capoeira for whatever reason, I highly recommend you check out this school. Hope to see you soon!”

“I had an amazing experience at Guy Lesser Diamonds. I worked with Guy when purchasing my wife's engagement ring. We had a call where I went over the details of what I wanted and my price range. A few days later I met with Guy where he walked me through a few options that were above my expectations on the diamond quality while staying well below the top of my budget. He taught me quite a bit about color, clarity, carat and cut, and helped me understand the level of quality needed for each to have a diamond that stands out while not overpaying for details that won't be noticed. My wife loves her ring and still gets compliments on it every day. We went back to Guy together to pick out our wedding bands and once again provided us with great advice. Guys partner and son Alex helped me get my ring resized in 15 minutes when it was slightly tight for my preference. Guy was also kind enough to clean my grandmothers 70 year old ring to look like new for my wife to wear at our rehearsal dinner. I look forward to buying many more special pieces for my wife and family from Guy for years to come.”

“I can’t anymore, I’m dead. I’ve been done in by this amazing store. So many choices of gender fluid, cool, wild, and creative clothes! Even for my 9 and 11.5 yo. Cool swim suits, cool jackets, cool shoes! And it’s locally owned! So much love. The kewpie dolls, and blind box green men are just a few of the amazing eye candy treats the owner has installed. Goodbye cruel world! I’m shopping at an.me”

“I’m so happy that I’ve found this beautiful sewing center right in the heart of the Garment District in Manhattan! This place is beautiful and is extremely accommodating to all of your designer needs! I’ve needed a sewing space to finish up a few prom dresses for my clients, and the ladies here have been extremely accommodating and had open availability for studio time the same day that I needed to use the design studio! Everyone is extremely nice and willing to assist with any needs that you may have. I highly recommend this space for independent fashion designers that need a beautiful and professional work space! The quality and pricing is AMAZING for studio time! I would highly recommend this center for creatives and also new students that would love to learn how to sew! This sewing center is so warm and welcoming! I would highly recommend their services! 5 STARS! Thank you again so much for always accommodating me, I truly appreciate this sewing center sew much! :) xx”

“This review is for the building, Tower 49®, in which they're headquartered and not the organization itself. One our favorite (relatively) new buildings in The City. Tower 49's main 'charm' is the way it deftly solves the problem of building on an irregular lot - the 48th and 49th Street frontages don't line up. We also like that simple '80s green mirror glass façade. Could be improved by replacing the entry plazas with a three story base of similar cladding - maybe hosting a German beer garden?”
