“Be aware that some reviews for the IHG hotel are for different locations (Bldg 109 and 785) on post at West Point. We stayed in the building next to the museum and visitors center in Highland Falls just outside of Thayer Gate. We were there for 3 nights. The rooms were clean, beds were comfortable and hotel staff was very helpful. Breakfast is nothing to write home about but the location is convenient to walk to restaurants across the street. Wouldn't hesitate to stay here in the future.”

There was a very large group of people for an event, and we were still able to get a seat at the bar. The hotel is gorgeous and the wait staff attentive.”

“For the price we paid for it, it was a really nice hotel for the night. Two big beds, the tv stations were good. The bathroom was spacious. The only problem was we thought there to be a microwave in the rooms but there is one close by to the rooms, right with the ice machine. There is a pizzeria nearby, along with a Rite Aid and a food store within walking distance. Overall a very nice place to stay.”

“Lynn and Bill are incredible hosts. Friendly and personable. Very accommodating to renters morning schedules for breakfast (and the food is delicious). Knowledgeable about the area and well-acquainted with West Point from families who rent there often. The two houses and all the rooms (both living rooms and bedrooms) are very well kept and well furnished with snacks always set out (like homemade brownies and fruit and such). The view of the river from one of the house’s living spaces / porch is also very nice. And all for a very reasonable price. Couldn’t ask for better.”

“An absolute gem. Breathtaking views of the Hudson River with a backdrop of thick forestry. Sailboats and leisurely watercraft quietly skimming by. It's just a bucolic setting. But the home itself is even more magnificent. Well constructed, well designed and especially well thought out in it's decoration. Every room and every detail. I kid you not. From the art deco theater , to the 1950's style malt shop, a bar with a playroom, the gorgeous patios and the very cool suites, you could spend an entire day just on the grounds and within the house. Thank you, Karen and Edward, for your first rate hospitality and a delicious breakfast (we've already tried plagiarizing that amazing bread pudding recipe:)”

“Attended an outdoor wedding in November and they gave us blankets. The venue was so beautiful and had a great time. Be prepared, there is no food available in the area at night esp if you go to a early wedding ( ours was from 1-9pm). Everything closes early but if you are staying over night you will enjoy the quietness. The common area is great to host a group and the fire place is really cozy. The reception was amazing and it was a overall amazing event. We love the park and have been there before for hiking. Will be back!”
