Gayle was extremely helpful in guiding me through the process, as I had little clue of what to do. After picking the frame and tossing around ideas I felt so comfortable that I let her choose the sizing and matting. The result was perfect. She also got it all done inside a very small window of time so I was able to give my colleague the gift before she moved on.
I always enjoy working with Gayle at Innerwood Gallery! She is very talented and has an eye for finding the perfect frame and mat to complement your artwork. Her work is beautifully done with great attention to detail, and she is always friendly and personable. Highly recommend!
Gayle’s work is stunning. She has an eye for aesthetic beauty and her craftsmanship is highly detail-oriented. Immediately upon entering her cozy studio, you are welcomed into her creative space and reassured that your vision is in masterful hands. She is patient, kind, and extremely knowledgeable about the best route needed to execute your creative vision. I am wowed with the final product and cherish this addition to my collection. I can’t wait to work with her on my next project—already have thoughts. Thank you!!
Gayle from Innerwood Gallery is a treasure of a framer! After getting quotes from numerous frame shops, including the nationwide chain, we were shocked that Gayle's was much more competitive. When we told her this, she charmingly responded that she has low overhead. We were also surprised by the extensive number of frames available at the shop, along with how accommodating and creative Gayle is when it comes to custom work. She told us that if we didn't find what we were looking for, she would gladly build us a frame since she has access to a professional woodshop. For our first frame, we chose a thin, gold floater frame, the inside of which Gayle painted black per our request. The frame turned out beautifully and made our painting look more modern and elevated. For our second frame, Gayle worked with us to come up with an ideal solution for our project. We needed a frame that would be used to create a preserved moss art piece. It also had to be the same size and paint color as the two windows that it would hang between, giving the illusion of there being three windows. Gayle did a wonderful job realizing what I had in mind. With her expert advice, we ended up going with a reverse frame, made from poplar since that would provide the smoothest paint finish, hung close to the wall using a French cleat. Her attention to detail was superb; she even tested the paint on a few blocks of wood to make sure we were happy with the result. Gayle was always available to answer our questions and it was a joy getting to know her through this process. The moss frame is a statement piece in our home and everyone who visits compliments it. I would not have been able to execute it without Gayle's guidance and help. We look forward to getting more artwork framed by Gayle in the near future and will be referring everyone we know to Innerwood Gallery.
Attention to detail and an eye for aesthetics, Gayle surpassed the challenge when it came to the delicate framing of these family treasures. They look even more stunning in person. Gayle is meticulous in her work. I won't be framing anywhere else but with Innerwood Gallery. So glad I found you, Gayle!
