It was so nicely chewy instead of being hard and crispy like most biscotti. The maple walnut variety didn't skimp on the maple flavor at all. “Amazing place. I've been coming here for many years. Not only are the fruits and vegetables fresh and grown on premises (or locally), the distillery and restaurant they have added are wonderful. Plus, their apple cider donuts are to die for. Seriously the best I've ever had- light and fluffy, not too sweet with the perfect amount of sugar on the outside. Other random tidbits: -Everyone who works there is super friendly. - Bathrooms are clean. - Prices in store are reasonable for the high quality products they sell. Recommendations for the restaurant: 1. Smoked mushroom sandwich- Hands down the most flavorful and tender Portobello I've had in a while. 2. Mac n cheese. (but really it's cheese and Mac) 3. House made hard cider. There is an amazing Distillery on premises serving local cocktails, ciders, and beer. You should come here. Whether you are passing through town or live here this is absolutely worth a stop.”

“When with my mom to pick out her hanging flower baskets for mother's day we get them every year from there and they are very big and beautiful and they last all summer. We also got some Fresh cider donuts and apple fritters from inside, along with some miscellaneous treats to try. Edit: just went with my mom for lunch it was poping inside, but still in no time we got our food and enjoyed a nice lunch.”

They had plenty of pumpernickel, multigrain everything and rye bagels which are my favorites. The nice man cut them for me, too! They have some of the best bagels on Long Island! They also have a nice dining area to enjoy breakfast. They offer a lot of options, party platters and prepared foods if you are on the go. Plenty of parking depending upon the time of day you go.”

I'm not sure who their distributors are, but in all my years of living in NYC, I haven't seen a store with such a distinct array of unusual products. In addition to your typical produce, dry goods, and vegan specialty items, this store sells products like pasta imported from Italy, chocolate from Greece and a variety of assorted cheeses from around the world. They have fresh baked breads, fresh cuts of meat and seafood, as well as an impressive deli counter. Store leadership is gracious and friendly as well. My sister took me here when I was visiting this weekend, and I will certainly return!!!”

“Great neighborhood bagel place. True Long Island bagels - after you eat one of these deli quality bagels the packaged ones from the supermarkets, grocery stores, or Dunkin Donuts taste like bread. Large interior, great coffee options, lots of bagel options, lots of deli cold salad options. Layout is slightly chaotic - the line forms in the middle, but orders are taken to the right, and the deli stuff is to the left. Best feature - the store never closes. I haven’t tested the truth in their words, but you should be able to head there in the middle of the night and still get your deli cravings met. Also love their pies in the winter! Unfortunately they have followed the recent trend to ding credit card / Apple Pay customers with a surcharge, instead of going the other way to give the cash customers a discount.”
