2 Ames

Address: 2 Ames Ave, Chautauqua, NY 14722, USA

Restaurant Cafe

“A truly incredible place and one-of-a-kind experience. 2 Ames brings such a unique vision into the food and drinks they offer. I’ve eaten here for years, whether it be dinner, lunch, or brunch, and it’s consistently exceeded my expectations. No joke, some of the best cocktails I’ve ever had. I’ve always recommended 2 Ames to anyone visiting Chautauqua and will continue to.”

Something Special Deli

Address: 185 Merrick Rd, Amityville, NY 11701, USA

Restaurant Cafe Store

“Owner was very friendly and our sandwiches were great. The Italian Stallion hero was very tasty and a good deal for the portion size. Unfortunately most of the negative reviews are racially motivated since there was a change in ownership...friendly people and staff”

Whitman Deli & JD Kitchen

Address: 702 Walt Whitman Rd, Melville, NY 11747, USA

Restaurant Store

“This is under new ownership and decided to try it. It is very clean and the new owners are very nice and friendly. Their breakfast sandwich tasted great and was perfectly cooked and the price was more reasonable than most other delis I have been to by a few dollars. Besides sandwich’s and typical deli salads what makes them stand out is their Korean options. I tried their Korean fried chicken and it was delicious. Definitely recommend trying it if you want something different.”

Ted's Hot Dogs

Address: 2312 Sheridan Dr, Tonawanda, NY 14150, USA

Restaurant

“Burger and impossible burgers were good. Milkshake was quite tasty. The fries are in different containers and a lot less now. They also tasted crisper/more overcooked than normal. The staff really needs to work on working together. Our milkshakes were made and finished, sitting to the side before our food was even cooked. Then our food and milkshakes were done before the fries were so just sat there too getting cold/melting. We also had to repeat our order to 3 people. It has also gotten super expensive. We paid over $47 for 2 burgers, 2 fries, and 2 shakes.”

The Hollow Bar + Kitchen

Address: 79 N Pearl St, Albany, NY 12207, USA

Restaurant

“Went to the hollow for dinner at the bar. Ordered the hallow burger, brussel sprouts, kale aesar salad, and a beer. Total came to about $50. Not terrible. The food was excellent. The burger was perfectly cooked. The kale caesar I definitely recommend, it was big and tasted great. The sprouts were ok. A bit spicy for my liking but good. The burger does come with a spicy ketchup too so be aware. The service was pretty good, very friendly. But was doing many things at once like stocking and chatting with customers more than they should. Was hard to get another drink or to ask for anything. Other than that I would definitely go back again.”

Taste of Portugal

Address: 493 Newbridge Rd, East Meadow, NY 11554, USA

Restaurant

“Great little local place for Portuguese food. Waiter was friendly and offered suggestions. The red sangria was nice and refreshing. We tried the clams in garlic sauce and the mussels as appetizers and both were seasoned nicely and was enjoyable. The table bread was served cold but you can request them to warm it up. It's definitely worth visiting.”

Alaturco Gyro

Address: 142 Milton Ave, Ballston Spa, NY 12020, USA

Restaurant

“We had driven by and stopped in, got a chicken gyro sandwich and a lamb/chicken platter. It was definitely on par, and the 2 ladies working were so nice, quick with the order as well. Everything was freshly made on the spot. We dug in so quickly, that I forgot to take the picture ahead of time 😕 I would go again for sure.”

Crosby's - Lockport

Umberto's Restaurant & Pizzeria

Address: 1180 Wantagh Ave, Wantagh, NY 11793, USA

Restaurant

“My family used to go here all the time until we moved away 10 years ago. But being back in town for a few days, I had to stop here for dinner with my husband and parents. We got an antipasti salad, a large cheese pie with 2 meatball slices, and shrimp fra diavolo. I just had 2 slices of the pie and a garlic knot. It was still as excellent as I remember. I missed this. Just the right amount of oil, thin crust (a little too burnt), and just the right flavors and sauce/cheese ratio.”

Detoxx Bar

Address: 160 Walt Whitman Rd, Huntington Station, NY 11746, USA

Restaurant

“Amazing variety of specialty health foods. As of 9/16/23 location in incorrectly marked on Google Maps. One location on outside of mall and one inside.”

753 Dumpling House

Address: 753 Franklin Ave, Franklin Square, NY 11010, USA

Restaurant

“A small, but comfortable restaurant with great promise. The scallion pancake was crispy and moist, a hard combination. The pork soup dumplings had thin skin, with an ample amount of soup and meat inside. Well worth ordering IF you are dining in. The crispy fried pork ribs finished off a great meal.”

Golden Dragon

Address: 98 NY-59, Nanuet, NY 10954, USA

Meal takeaway Restaurant

“I got the Roasted Pork with mushrooms and it was greats. Came out around $17 as I ordered extra rice.”

Abitino's Pizzería

Address: Terminal 8, JFK Expy Airport, Queens, NY 11430, USA

Restaurant

“Was looking forward to the pizza from here, as it was incredible when I last visited in 2015. Unfortunately it's nowhere near as good as I remember it from back then, but it was still a nice meal to finish my New York trip with. My kids still liked it and ate quite a lot of it! Probably still the best food place in this terminal by a long way.”

Foods of NY Tours

Address: 9 Barrow St, New York, NY 10014, United States

Restaurant

Little Enrico's Pizzeria

Address: 191 Franklin Ave, Franklin Square, NY 11010, USA

Restaurant

“A great neighborhood shop serving up one of my favorite slices of pizza in NY. It's a nice corner shop on a little strip of stores in Franklin Square. It has that classic pizzeria feel, and the pizza is fantastic. The staff is solid and welcoming too. I usually go for the plain cheese, but their specialties are great too. Their buffalo chicken slice is fantastic, and highly recommended. The crust is super thin and perfectly cooked. It's a little chewy, crispy, but not overdone. For the plain slice, the sauce is super flavorful, seasoned and savory, and not sweet. It's the perfect amount and thickness of cheese, again flavorful and a little salty, and not greasy at all. Prices are also super reasonable. They aren’t open too late, so check the hours first if you're looking for a late dinner or night snack.”

Brooklyn Dip & Burger

Address: 1850 Front St, East Meadow, NY 11554, USA

Restaurant

“Jennifer was a great bartender; she kept our drinks full and had a lot of knowledge about the establishment, the menu, the specialty drinks, etc. The food was delicious and hot and there is an extensive menu with something that will make every belly happy. They are obviously great with their take-out game because while we were there we saw many many pickups from what seemed like returning customers.”

The Honey Baked Ham Company

Address: 69 Wolf Rd, Albany, NY 12205, USA

Meal delivery Store Restaurant

“The woman serving us was patient with our questions. I forgot the name of the sandwich I had (it came with ham, cheese, tomato, lettuce and pickles) with pickle slices on the side. It was really tasty. Just a side note: the pickles start off sweet and then get really spicy after a few seconds of chewing.”

Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen

Address: 3379 Crompond Rd, Yorktown Heights, NY 10598, USA

Restaurant

“I am happy to get to try the New Popeyes today for lunch which had it's grand opening in January 2021. The food was very good and the staff is very generous in giving out a large bag of fries. I haven't been to any other Popeyes that gives out a large bag of fries at all than this place and this place is the first to give out large bag of fries if you order them. The chicken sandwiches are really good and if you want some flavor, I highly recommend you go for the spicy chicken sandwich. Moreover, if you are really hungary when you go and eat there after you finish exercising like I did, I would recommend getting a side order of french fries because they give you a generous amount of fries. As a customer, with the chicken sandwiches and fries, I am glad to say that the fries and the sandwich stuffed me up really good.”

Java

Address: 455 7th Ave, Brooklyn, NY 11215, USA

Restaurant

“pretty authentic Indonesian restaurant by my standards, and had really delicious food to share with four people. had the sampler which included lots of different meat varieties, and had the tumpia which was a tasty cheesy appetizer, and the soup was very good, and all the sauces were delicious. delicious. I would recommend getting the Garuda drink which is reminiscent of mango lassi. We shared the migoren and fried rice dish, and had lots of food to spare. had a great time and very wonderfully accommodating and friendly staff who helped us through our messy reservations in take photos of the group. highly recommend!”

Mulberry St. Pizza

Address: 287 N Broadway, Jericho, NY 11853, USA

Meal delivery Restaurant

“Definitely one of the best pizzerias in the area. Staff is very friendly. I got the buffalo chicken pizza, and it was the best one I've had by far. Not too spicy, but still a kick to it. Crust was perfect. Same for their regular cheese pizzas or pizzas with toppings. Alla vodka pasta and garlic knots were very delicious too. Worth every penny.”

Kamara's West African Restaurant

Address: 2003 Lyell Ave, Rochester, NY 14606, USA

Restaurant

“Because it was our first time having African food, the owner gave us a sample plate and allowed us try the delicious food😋. The space is diverse and inviting!!! We'll definitely be back!!!”

Prime Pub Somers

Address: 249 US-202, Somers, NY 10589, USA

Restaurant

“The portions are large, but the cost of each plate is high. As far as atmosphere goes it's beautiful, but it is very loud inside the restaurant. Sound carries and echos over everything, so you have to shout to carry on a conversation. Not a great place if you want to hear your date, but if you're going out with a group of friends (that will probably be loud anyway) it's a good stop. I got the Prime Pub Salad, which was overdressed and underseasoned. I did like the variety of ingredients in the bowl, however. I enjoy a lot of different textures in my salads. My fiancé got the French dip, which he said was phenomenal. The tots that came with it were average. It's not a place that we will be dying to go back to, but would go again if friends wanted us to join them.”

New Thriving

Address: 12012 Liberty Ave, Queens, NY 11419, USA

Restaurant

“Loved The Food, Reasonable Price, Friendly Employees & Environment, Neat And Clean.”

Capital Buffet

Address: 145 Wolf Rd, Albany, NY 12205, USA

Restaurant

“Although I went very nervously, everything I ate was good. It was fresh and cheap according to the amount. You can eat as much as you want. We mainly ate sushi and fresh vegetables and fruits. There is something suitable for every person. Since we don't eat pork, we didn't taste many things, but overall it was nice. The place was clean.👍”

KFC

Address: 470 E Delavan Ave, Buffalo, NY 14214, USA

Restaurant

“I went to the KFC service in the atmosphere is really great however when I got my chicken my chicken was very dry and it was not really fresh and my biscuits was just horrible I don't drive so I didn't have the opportunity to bring the food back or to give it back to the hopefully with me voicing my opinion that they'll do much better with their service thank you for giving me this opportunity to share my opinion Miss Kim love peace and blessings”

Kopitiam

Address: 151 E Broadway, New York, NY 10002, USA

Cafe Restaurant

“I’ve been hearing so much about this spot, so I needed to check it out. They don’t take reservations so get here early to grab a spot. The inside of the restaurant is busy and functional, it’s meant for you to dine in quickly and get out. Try many menu options, but not really stood out. Nasi Lemak was excellent, probably the best I’ve had in NYC. The cross cross mushrooms and oyster omelette were also good. Unfortunately, other dishes like the chicken fat rice, and the beef rendang were flat and flavorless. The best part is the prices - you can try a lot of plates for a relatively good deal in New York City.”

Dice Bowl

Address: 95 Maher Ln UNIT 5, Harriman, NY 10926, USA

Restaurant Store

“Honestly, I think I found my favorite boardgame cafe! It's a cute shop with a lot of nice decor, a wide selection of games, a lot of tasty drinks and MOST IMPORTANTLY GREAT SERVICE. The owners are really sweet and nice. They are very helpful / patient in explaining the different drinks and toppings & they are very knowledgeable about the boardgames. My friends and I have visited a few times, and each time we like to try out a new game. The owners are able to explain the rules so its easy to comprehend. Highly recommend!”

Sukhothai

Address: 254 Lark St, Albany, NY 12210, USA

Restaurant

“A hut with full of happiness. Loved the cleanliness, friendliness of the servers, deliciousness of the items and the out of the world Thai tea. Crispy fried Tofu as an appetizer was not up to the mark. It lacked seasoning. But... Seafood soup was too good. And the portion was too big for a person. Small amount eaters can share an order. I loved every bit of it except I missed shrimp in the soup. It had crab, mussel, and squid(not sure what was that). My husband ate pad Thai with chicken and again it was big in portion and full of flavors. He couldn't finish it so we took the rest away at home. Thai is only three something dollar. Mind blowing taste. No one should miss. We spend in total $40 ($5tip included)”

Oak Chalet

Address: 1940 Bellmore Ave, Bellmore, NY 11710, USA

Restaurant

“We really enjoyed our time there. Satisfied our craving for German food in a very wonderful atmosphere. German music playing in the outside dining area, but sadly not German music inside. Something else playing which was strange. The Weiss beer was really good and our waiter was fantastic.”
