“A gem amongst the downtown area. This place is very peaceful with plenty of areas to sit and enjoy the scenery, meditate, or read a good book. The flowers are gorgeous in early spring and worth a trip to see every year. The tombstones are neat to see, dating back to late 1800s on some. The weekend can be busy due to it being a popular photo backdrop for proms, senior pics, etc but weekdays are less crowded and my favorite time to go.”

“My sister's ashes rest here. During her funeral and burial the people in the office were very kind to my family and me. They made our grievance less complicated. At first I did not agreed about placing her here. But the fountain is nice and peaceful and it is super calm to visit her remains at the top of the hill in the middle of a garden. So this is a very nice cementary. Not exactly cheap but super nice.”

“Just wanted to recommend a local pet cremation place - as we had no idea where to start when we lost our family dog of 14 1/2 years this past Saturday (our local vet wasn't open nor were some others I had called). I called Laps of Love which directed me to an expensive place near the airport. On a whim, I reached out to Hartsell on 49, and they were absolutely incredible. Miller came and picked her up and was kind, compassionate, gentle and patient with us as we said our final goodbyes. They were reasonably priced and immediately made you feel like family. It's in times like these that you want to work with a staff and place like this. Just thought I'd share for others that may end up in this sad situation. Thank you for being so understanding and caring.”
