“Wonderful natural area!!! Opened in the fall of 2022 this is a well planned, well thought out and maintained natural area that was probably once a Pope family farm. My wife and I have been to almost every park and recreational area (with our dogs) in Orange county, but this is a stand out!! It is one of the best places for a quiet, peaceful, easy hike with the dogs. Open fields, pond, old barns, cemetery, woods and graveled road, all well marked, not muddy or hilly. Not to mention, a port-o-John and garbage can! Many other trails in the area have narrow, rooted, technically difficult paths, NOT HERE! There is a map (take a photo of it) and post card at the visitors barn. Well done owner and volunteers!! And thank you for preserving this wonderful piece of nature. We will be frequent visitors. If you bring your dogs, please pick up after them and be careful they don’t eat coyote poop!”

“We just had my daddy's funeral here, during the COVID restrictions. My parents had already purchased their plots in the 1970s. Through modifications of their old purchase and through the restrictions, the painful process was handled very soothingly and gently by the owner/ manager, Lynn. I would like to see better grass mowing, but this may be due to typical fast growth during springtime around here. Thank you Lynn! You helped us through a painful time and that means a lot to our family.”

“Tabitha Curry-Bey was very empathetic and sweet. She made us feel like family. We can tell she really cared. She was very knowledgeable and helped us answer any questions that we had. We were able to tour the mausoleum and visit the gravesite before the memorial service. The grounds were kept well and we believe it will be a nice resting place for our loved one.”

“Our family can't say enough wonderful things about Lancaster Funeral Home and their staff. Melanie was amazing. Our mother passed away unexpectedly and Melanie helped us through EVERY step of planning with grace, humor and professionalism. Again, we can't even put into words how INCREDIBLE Melanie has been to Our family. She was available by cell 24/7... what business does that now a days? Just Lancaster! And they are HALF THE PRICE of the other places. Ryan read the eulogy for us because no one in our family could handle it... And Ryan read it as if he was part Of our family. If we could give a million stars, we absolutely would! WE HIGHLY RECOMMEND LANCASTER FUNERAL HOME.”

“A gem amongst the downtown area. This place is very peaceful with plenty of areas to sit and enjoy the scenery, meditate, or read a good book. The flowers are gorgeous in early spring and worth a trip to see every year. The tombstones are neat to see, dating back to late 1800s on some. The weekend can be busy due to it being a popular photo backdrop for proms, senior pics, etc but weekdays are less crowded and my favorite time to go.”
