“The blooming onion was so good! The fried catfish melted in your mouth, and the stuffed clams were delicious! We did get some perch too, but it wasn't descaled properly. The manager refunded us and made sure everything else was perfect. The wait staff was attentive and quick. My only true complaint was the inside of the restaurant is wide open with no sound absorption, so it was really loud.”

“JJ’s Mama’s lived up to the HYPE. JJ’s was featured on Hungry Black Man Instagram page. I drove all the way from Charlotte to check out the food and it did not disappoint. Unfortunately, their restaurant was not open during the visit but I was still able to try their food at a fair location down the street. The Soul Bowl had so much flavor. The oxtails were seasoned to perfection and the Mac and cheese was very cheesy. The sweet potatoes and cornbread were amazing!”

“The original place we were planning on going ended up being temporarily closed so we chose here. No regrets! The food was really good. We were going to have the buffet but they only do that certain hours of the day. We ordered a Philly pizza, an app and a kids toasted cheese. The kids toasted cheese was huge ! And less then $4! The pizza has very high quality cheese that reminded me of the pies I’d get in NYC. Our waiter was extremely pleasant and attentive.”

“It's like Mayberry and BBQ came together. The atmosphere was great, and there was a lot of decor to remind you that you are definitely in a BBQ restaurant. The service was exceptional and friendly. It was almost completely at capacity, but the service was super fast. They have that down to pat. We had the BBQ sandwich with slaw and fries. The sandwich had so much mest in it that half of it fell off, and we gad to scoop it up with our forks! It also comes with a side of NC BBQ sauce that I just ended up dipping my sandwich in. They are also smart and bring you a little pitcher of you tea so that the servers aren't tied up going back and forth refilling drinks! Smart, seeing how busy they were and how proficient the service was. It was a delicious lunch to satisfy us while traveling through Lexington. The only thing that may be a little frustrating is that with it being so busy, finding a good parking spot might be a little tricky. But, it's not bad and well worth it. The amount of business we saw coming in reassured us that this little spot is hopping and had to have good BBQ! Recommended to stop in, and we will be back!”

“This location is extremely busy but the staff has seemed to turn a new leaf this year. I have never seen so much growth in a short period of time. I always come and ask for the cashier Nicole or the Manager Stephanie and they make beautiful pizzas.”

“First off, let me start by saying I am by no means a fan of BK. I do not like the taste of the burgers at all, never have. Also after having delivered supplies to several BK stores on the east coast in the past has seriously turned me off to the place due to how disgusting they all were. We had no other real choices this day so we stopped, my girlfriend loves BK. So I gave in and ordered a chicken sandwich instead of a burger. While I won't go out of my way to eat at BK any time soon, this visit was good. The store was clean, including bathrooms. The service was pleasant and prompt. The food was made correctly, fresh and hot. I can't really find anything to complain about this location.”

“This place would of received 5 stars, but they gave me the wrong food. I was in the mood to have a giant Buffalo chicken sandwich, what I got was a chicken bacon ranch. Good sandwich, but that's what I didn't want. FYI have someone inspect every sandwich before it goes out.”

“My date and I stopped in on a whim. The food was delicious, and the service was so nice. Don’t unfairly judge this place by its cover and miss out! We tried to the golden noodles and they were perfect. Can’t wait to come back again and try something new!”

“Biscuit King is one of my favorite places to eat! My favorite is the cheese and egg biscuit and it was DELICIOUS! The fries were old and crusty though. The only reason I didn't go back was because I didn't want to be late for church service and they had a LOT of people. One of the guys brought my food to me and I was in the restaurant! That was super sweet 😊. Love Biscuit King! Good food, friendly service and great price”

“Stopped by for lunch since we were in the area. We have noticed the parking lot always has cars, which is usually a good sign. This is totally a small town type of diner. There were 10 “meats” listed on the whiteboard and 18 “vegetables” on another. Lots of diners were enjoying plate lunches, subs and sandwiches upon our visit. We opted for the Ham and Cheese Sub and the Cheese Steak with a side of fries. The hubby originally ordered the Pork Rib Sandwich, but they had already sold out of it. Our food was good and prepared as requested. Service was fantastic.”

“I hardly ever eat BBQ but my son's do. I have to say this was So good off the charts. Not greasy or fatty and lean. The slaw was perfect tons of vinegar. Took 8 BBQ sandwiches for some ballplayers loved it. Oops the picture of the church accidentally and won't allow me to delete. Pay no mind to it!”

“This establishment opened a place pre Covid that was going to be their catering spot near Thomasville. I loved it and frequented them alot. They did their Italian dishes but not pizza. They offered take and bake. Then COVID hit and I guess it messed up their plans and they closed down. Finally found myself in Lexington and decided to check them out. Wow what a selection of slices. I have not seen options like that since my New York City trips. There must have been 20 different pies. I went with the two slice and drink special. Got their white and a stuffed pizza. Enjoyed them.”

“When i think of Kearny's i think of quality and bang for your buck. They have always been and continue to be the best place in Lexington, maybe even all of N.C. for an unforgettable burger or hot dog. Their customer service is stellar, they're always wonderfully nice. They make you feel like you're part of the family. I highly recommend trying it if you haven't before and if i could I'd give them 6 out of 5 stars. 👍”
