“I just found out about this place. My dental hygienist and I were having a conversation about the owner. We both used to know the owner from a business several years ago and I had asked where she went. My hygienist said she opened a coffee shop so I had to go. I ordered a mint hot chocolate and two muffins. The mint hot chocolate was probably the best hot chocolate I have ever drank. It was not overpowering not too sweet not too hot. It was perfect. I got to the window and the owner Jodi That I remembered from a previous business was at the window. It was super quick service. So friendly. I had my two dogs with me and she gave them PUP cups which for little cups full of whip cream and they loved it. Jodi Is definitely in the perfect business. She is so friendly and so joyful and so people oriented. Please go there! The coffee cake muffin is amazing. You’ve earned a customer.”

“Biscuit King is one of my favorite places to eat! My favorite is the cheese and egg biscuit and it was DELICIOUS! The fries were old and crusty though. The only reason I didn't go back was because I didn't want to be late for church service and they had a LOT of people. One of the guys brought my food to me and I was in the restaurant! The made to order food and drinks (like iced coffee) are made quickly and readily available. Plus, the food is always delicious and the specialty drinks like the iced mocha is sooo good! The workers are always nice, courteous and friendly when I come in. Bathrooms are bigger than most convenient store bathrooms and every time I’ve gone to use the restroom it’s always nice and clean and well stocked with essentials like plenty of toilet paper, paper towels and soap. They served us with hush puppies before our order was ready which I regretted eating lol because i was stuffed when my food arrived so be mindful of that. The food was very mild in taste for me. “First time eating at this establishment as it’s sort of obscure in its location. It wasn’t until I was right at the door that I saw where it was. It’s a small location that is attached to a coffee shop called The Blend. It’s right in between a Dry Cleaners and The Blend. The food is delicious. I had the special of the day, the quesabirria’s, which were amazing! My sister had a grilled chicken quesadilla with rice and beans. All food regardless of take out or dine in is served in plastic take out containers. While the food is delicious, the portion sizes are on the small size. For many, their portions will be sufficient. However, if you’re used to getting larger portions at other Mexican/Southwestern establishments, you may be disappointed. My sister rated her meal an 8 and I rated mine a 9. Great flavor!! The decor is bright and lively. I noticed some trash and bits of food on the floor which may just be remnants from the lunch crowd (we arrived at 1:30), but this, along with the smaller portions is the reason I didn’t give 5 start.”

“Stopped by for lunch since we were in the area. We have noticed the parking lot always has cars, which is usually a good sign. This is totally a small town type of diner. There were 10 “meats” listed on the whiteboard and 18 “vegetables” on another. Lots of diners were enjoying plate lunches, subs and sandwiches upon our visit. We opted for the Ham and Cheese Sub and the Cheese Steak with a side of fries. The hubby originally ordered the Pork Rib Sandwich, but they had already sold out of it. Our food was good and prepared as requested. Service was fantastic.”

They offered take and bake. Then COVID hit and I guess it messed up their plans and they closed down. Finally found myself in Lexington and decided to check them out. Wow what a selection of slices. I have not seen options like that since my New York City trips. There must have been 20 different pies. I went with the two slice and drink special. Got their white and a stuffed pizza. Enjoyed them.”
