“I tried every possible alternative to get a diesel engine out of a sailboat. There are all sorts of rube goldberg possibilities, but didnt want to take the risk of dropping the engine. They are used to much larger projects, and have a 3 hour minimum. Got the smallest crane (23 ton) to lift my 350 lb engine. The issue is that the diesel has to be maneuvered around tight quarters, which are varnished mahogany. Barry did a great job while I used a signal flag thru the hatch. Set up, extraction and outriggers up was 36 minutes. Will certainly use again for the new engine. Pricey for my application but professional.”
