We got seated in the bar area and ordered 2 beers along with the Seafood mix with raw bluepoint oysters, crab, mussels and clams. Everything was delicious and fresh. The order was enough for 2 people and they even brought me a surprise ice cream crepe w/a candle for my birthday. It began to snow as we sat inside and when we came out it was a winter wonderland. “We ordered one chicken Philly and one steak Philly Togo for lunch today. Although the sandwich was decent, it just didn’t wow us. We have heard so many great things about the menu but it was very condensed. We asked the assumed owner why certain things were no longer available. He said they downsized the menu, which I assume is from supply chain issues. No fault to him, but we were hoping to see more variety that we have experienced previously. The inside had zero atmosphere, but the woman working the counter was extremely nice. Our total was just over $18 and I used a $10 off coupon. Honestly, the sandwiches were good, but not $30 good.”

“My 5 year old son has always had home hair cuts by a close friend because he’s been a little scared of going to a salon or barbershop. He recently decided he wanted to go and get it done somewhere and we ended up at Linked Up. I’m so happy we did because we had a wonderful experience and he opened up as the appointment went on. The staff are wonderful and very welcoming, the decor and overall vibe is very unique and fun. Byron cut his hair and was so patient and easy with him. He did a wonderful job, we were so happy with how it turned out. It was very relieving for both my son and I since I was worried about him being nervous. We can’t wait to go back and my older son is already asking when he gets to go.”

“Had a great time at Beer Lab. The drink selection is superb (albeit a little difficult to read after it gets dark.) Loved the raspberry and peanut butter porters. probably some of the best I’ve had. The ingredients were plentiful, all the way to the edge and tasted delicious! Not greasy either. A large pizza can easily feed 3 adults. The bill with tax was right at $37 which I thought was a bargain considering what we've paid at other places. You won't regret going here. We'll be back as soon as we can. Our order was ready in about 30 minutes which was great especially considering how busy the restaurant was (good to see on a Saturday evening).The restaurant seemed very casual and the staff was very friendly. The dishes came with side salads which was a happy surprise as that wasn’t included in the description when ordering online. Overall the food was good, decent portion sizes. Only con from this first experience was the prices seem a little high but not so much so that we wouldn’t go back. Definitely recommend giving this place a try.”

“I came to this church because Jesse, the guitarist in the photo I attached, plays in the worship band on Sundays but preaches on the streets of Jacksonville on Saturdays. That's how I met him, and started coming. The senior Pastor, Thomas Sparks, preaches on a street corner as he has every Sunday morning to non-churchgoers while his wife officiates the service in the church. A group of members go out on Wednesdays to reach the adjacent neighborhood with the gospel and invite people to attend. The church also gets food donations which in turn gets distributed to as many as 50 families a week. It's not a large church but more people are reaching the lost souls percentage-wise than all the mega churches throughout Jacksonville, and probably Florida itself! Heck, this week Pastor Sparks, the gentleman standing with long-sleeve blue shirt, is taking a trailer of food to an orphanage deep into Mexico as he does every month. I'm out preaching the gospel also and have even gotten a new brother to go out. That new brother is close to 50 and he gave out gospel tracts for the first time in his life this past weekend with me. The LORD even used me to bring healing to a man whose back hurt so bad, he couldn't bend over and touch his toes without excruciating pain. After his healing, he said he was able to touch his toes, while standing and bending over, for the first time in years.”
