“My wife, after going there for a company event, took me for my first time. Edgar was the same waiter/ bartender that had served her the first time. He is amazing! Super friendly, very knowledgeable, suggesting food that was amazing and serving drinks that were equally as amazing! The place was medium as far as busyness, we went right before dinner rush about 4:30pm. Easy parking, fast service, decent prices. Out of the Hispanic restaurants we have been to around Smithfield THIS one is in the top three! I strongly recommend El Barzon to locals and travelers seeking authentic Hispanic food.”

“My wife and I stayed at the Hidden Haven RV Park for a couple days and decided to try this place out since it was right next to us. The garlic cheesy bread was great. My wife got a salad with Italian dressing, the salad was good and she loved the dressing. We also got a white pizza and a bbq chicken pizza, very very good. They’ve got a pretty decent menu for being a small little joint attached to a gas station. If you’re in the mood for Italian, do yourself a favor and give this place a try.”

We don't have one in our area so stopping here was a must. Love that chicken from Zaxby's! Chicken tenders never tasted so good. I rarely get a chance to enjoy fried pickles but I wasn't as impressed as the other options so I'd pass on those the next time. They looked better than they tasted.
