Even though we were unable to labor at home as we had initially planned due to my water breaking, Brianna arrived promptly to the hospital to meet up with us and was extremely helpful in suggesting positions and movements to try and get my contractions going. She was a supportive, calm presence and helped me and my husband feel more at ease every step of the way, even as the birth was not going as we had imagined it may go. The photos and the summary of the birth she sent us are so special, and something I am thankful for. So many moments and decisions recorded for us to remember that we may have forgotten about otherwise. My eyes fill with tears every time I see the photos and read over what we went through that day in order to safely meet our little one.
