“What can I say, I love Hibachi! I usually enjoy the Shrimp Hibachi, but my daughter loves the Chicken & Shrimp Hibachi! If I'm being honest, usually the chicken is a little on the dry side for my taste, and that is not just at this hibachi establishment! This is something honestly, I can eat several times a week - I love Hibachi!!! I love that I don't have to feel guilty after decouring my food! I add one container of Ginger sauce and one container of white sauce, (or what we affectionately call "Yum sauce"), to my dish for an absolute treat! If I had to say anything bad about this establishment, it will be that they just don't give you enough food! I feel they could give you a little bit more veggies and maybe just a few more shrimp to make your plate really look full! But other than that, the food here is great! The staff is kind! And people of all backgrounds sit, gather and eat! If you are ever near Hibachi 88, stop in and enjoy! “Shane’s is not bad for a fast food style BBQ. I like it better than Dickey’s as they have some more interesting menu options and their prices are in touch with reality. My only negative about these guys is the consistency. Sometimes steak fries, sometimes crinkle cut. Sometimes wing sauce is spicy, sometimes it’s mild. Sometimes there is way too much sauce, other times its lightly sauced. The staff are great and friendly. And I love somewhere that leaves sauces out for you and doesn’t make you beg for them. Except ranch, you have to beg for that and they will still forget to give it to you.”

“Had lunch today at San Jose, and it was delightful! Wonderful to find decent Tex-Mex in this section of Raleigh. Don't hesitate to get the lunch plates: they're gigantic! The chips and salsa were flavorful and my grandson (only 3 years old) couldn't get enough of the crunch! He liked his chicken tenders, too. I had the burrito bowl and it was more than I could have possibly eaten in one sitting. My daughters were impressed with their choices, too. I'm sure we will go there again!”

“We always order from this location! After a few bad experiences with competitors, we pretty much only order pizza delivery from Marco's Pizza. The order is always correct, the prices are very reasonable, and the ingredients are quality. Last Thursday, 9.22.2022, we ordered for delivery because we had a long day, and I want to compliment the driver, Tracey brown, for being so thoughtful in including plates, napkins, and cheese/pepper flakes packets with our order. These are things that we didn't think of, but having them made our experience that much more enjoyable! She is amazing, and truly cares for the customer.”

“I love the concept of choosing your own ingredients and then watching them cook it for you. They have a great selection of meats/proteins, veggies, oils/sauces, and spices to add to your food. All ingredients were fresh. The staff is friendly. They seated us immediately and explained how/where to select our options and where to have it cooked. Very easy once you know how! My one complaint is they don't offer to-go boxes if you're a dine-in customer. This seems wasteful. I assume they do this to stop people from really piling on the meats/proteins and taking it to go. However, their prices are a bit high and would seem to cover this situation. Overall, a great dining experience.”

“Updating my old review to say this was my all time favorite place in Raleigh. The people running it are so friendly and were amazingly patient. My friends and I showed up with large parties, were annoyingly loud, and didn't call ahead, but we always left happy and felt welcome. It's a quiet place that is pretty inside with a big menu. I always got the half price rolls they offered every day cause I'm cheap, but I got to try other stuff on the menu too and it was all great. The octopus was REALLY good, I'd never tried that before. I waited for a few minutes to collect my order from the counter. My name or number was called. I went to the purchase counter to find out whats going on with my order. I will admit at first I doubted we would enjoy our meal by the tiny little parking lot and long wait at the door but Miss Kim quickly changed our mind. My daughter had never been to Waffle House since relocating to Raleigh so I decided to take her today. Miss Kim took our orders after seating us and she managed the Saturday crowd with grace. My daughter decided on the All Star platter with hash browns and Bacon. I also had a platter with a Pecan Waffle & grits. Our food came out quickly and everything was hot and fresh. The Pecan Waffle is my favorite on the menu and the grits are very good here. My daughter cleaned her plate and mine ! I also really enjoyed the music here ! Thanks Miss Kim !”

“If anyone is considering this place, DO IT! This place is hands down one of the best Mexican restaurants my boyfriend and myself have ever eaten at. Our current financial situation only allows us to go out to eat about once a month… even that is pushing it, so when we do, we put a lot of research into finding a great place. El Tapatio had great reviews, and they really lived up to the hype. We were seated quickly, greeted quickly, and the food was amazing. Giselle was our server, who I honestly felt bad for because brain is so scattered today I can barely form a comprehensible sentence. Not only was she patient and understanding, she was very kind, and seemingly genuine. Her actual steps of service were spot on as well, if you’re reading this lol I would have tipped you 1000% if I had had it. I’ve been in the service industry for almost 15 years and I think this is the first time I can honestly say my experience was perfect (only negative the DoorDash noises were kind of annoying but it’s necessary for busy places).
