“This five star review goes to Lisa in the deli this is not a reflection off the store itself and the other employees. When I approach the deli counter and there was a man and a woman far left laughing and having a conversation and there was two other employees slicing meat and cheese they seemed busy and occupied I stood at the counter for a little over five minutes the entire time I stared at the employees that were having a conversation curious and wondering why they kept looking at me yeah it did not take the time to stop and come help me as I stood at the hot bar. One of the employees slicing meat turn her head and said can you please go help The customer waiting at the hot bar he responded to her but I’m not sure what he said but he never came to help me nor did the lady that he was talking to that had a hairnet on. I was been approached by a lady name Lisa will apologize for my wait and was attentive I explain to her that I was very appreciated that she stopped what she was doing just to come help me she did the right thing and I truly believe that she showed what customer service is all about and it’s hard to find that nowadays it seems like a lot of retail businesses are slacking on customer service short on staff which is not in their control but it just doesn’t seem like people care about their jobs anymore these days . Thank you so much Lisa your service was definitely noticed”

“Compare Foods is a well rounded grocery store filled with both Hispanic and American products. Equipped with a café like sit in to order hot meals and cool drinks within the Hispanic culture. I come to this grocery store for their 5 for $20 deal on mixing and matching meats. A great deal when you can get seafood, chicken, pork chops, steaks etc! They are also building a new ice cream parlor, so stay tuned for that. I'm very excited for this opening. Stop by and show some support.”

“Super helpful store members. Went looking for a bone in salt cured ham for Christmas. Thay had a plethora of nicely cured and fresh hams. There meat department was old school butcher style. You can see them though the widow cutting by hand. All meats that I saw were red and fresh looking nothing grey and old. I will be back to stock up my deep freezer with many more of there variety of meats. I love the country store feel because that is how I grew up. Go visit.”

Always enjoy it---carnitas and other goodies from the deli section, canned and frozen specialties, and a boatload of bakery items--love their rolls! A couple of days ago my wife was with me and she loved the place: "It's so friendly and happy!" She was reacting to the family shoppers, bouncy Norteno music, and friendly people (staff and other customers besides.) Great place to shop!”

“A&C Supermarket is indeed an Oriental store of super proportions, what with a grocer, Chinese restaurant and bakery coexisting in one vast space. Located just south of central Raleigh, this proper Chinese grocer is replete with an excellent selection of seasonal fruits and vegetables and live seafood—including soft-shelled turtle. Aisles are clean, well-organized, capacious and easily navigable. Service at this Chinese supermarket is surly at worst and aloofly civil at best, which is typical of Chinese-run establishments of this caliber.”

“I'm not a huge fan of Walmart but it was late and because of convenience I stopped by. This was my first time inside a Walmart Neighborhood Market, not bad I must say, ample parking, clean and fully stocked. Found everything thing I needed, in fact I should have used a bigger shopping cart. Plenty of food and non food items and great prices. The only drawback I have is I had to use the self scan checkout, but being it was super late I can understand, plus the attendant was very helpful. If in that area again I'd definitely return.”
