“Outstanding experience! 4 of us had dinner on a Sunday and we had the best meal and service; all around exceeded our expectations. The restaurant is beautiful, the food out of this world and the service perfect. The specials that our server described to us blew us away as it was very lengthy (probably as many as are on the menu). We ordered several appetizers from the daily special and then fish plates and pasta. All of it was beautifully plated and tasted even better. We were all full at the end of the meal but squeezed in a couple of the desserts that were equally delicious. Left with a great dining experience and happy we were able to celebrate our daughter's birthday this way.”

“Szechwan Garden is my wife's and my favorite place to get Chinese takeout. I'm vegetarian. The Zen menu makes it extremely easy to order since EVERYTHING on the menu is vegetarian. I can't say I've seen this anywhere else. We frequently drive into Lakewood, passing many other Chinese restaurants, to get food from here. The food is extremely consistent, the portions are large, and the prices are reasonable. I love this place.”

“Very cute little coffee spot also serves crepes. We went here for a Yelp elite event where we got free syrup and marshmallows for a home specialty drink but we also treated ourselves with lattes and an alfajores cookie. The lattes were so amazing and the cookie was out of this world delicious! We were so glad we were able to come here and experience this place and also have plans to invite people we know who love this type of decor! We loved how festive the place was decorated since we are in the Christmas mode. The staff was super friendly and helpful with our questions. If you want to have professional lattes and treats and love the vintage vibes then this is the place for you!!”

“I can’t even begin to say how blown away my friends and I were of Voodoo! I mean EVERYTHING was absolutely amazing. Even the seaweed salad and pita bread in my mussels dish were TO DIE FOR. The tastes were so refreshing in ALL of our drinks and food. I mean truly unbelievable. Emmitt was a truly fantastic server. In my opinion you should probably not be coming in to a restaurant in the last hour of operation since they want folks out by close so they can go home from a hard day at work.”

Maybe the fact it's at the FAR West end of Madison? whatever the case, I'm glad I did! We went there after dinner and had THE best pies ever! The apple/pear was off the hook! And the drinks?! Fantastic! The ambiance is awesome! Love the intimate feel, the dark colors of the far dining area. The quirky camper as you walk in. The light that the cool chandeliers cast on the walls. VERY COOL! “If you want to start dining out again I highly recommend that you begin at Pier W. It was a wonderful experience from start to finish. Our reservation was for 6:15p and we were seated promptly. Our party of 5 had extra space with the reduced seating and a perfect, unobstructed view of Lake Erie. The piano player enhanced our quiet dining experience. All of the employees wore masks and the tables were cleared and reset immediately. The limited menu, along with the specials, provided enough variety including a delicious scallop dish. Our waitress was kind and attentive. Including the wine and dessert I was a very happy customer. The last time I dined at Pier W was 26 years ago. I will not wait that long again.”
