“From the initial call through completion of our roofing project, I couldn’t have imagined a better experience than what we had with Garfield 1-2323! I’ve always been one to get multiple quotes on any project, big or small. But from the moment I met with Sam, I was instantly impressed and felt very comfortable and confident to the point where I didn’t seek out any other quotes or meet with any other contractors (a true first for me). Sam was very thorough and detailed in all his explanations, and his passion for what he does was very apparent. His suggestions were extremely helpful, and I really felt like he took care of our home like it was his own. The amount of time he spent talking on the phone, in person, through text/email was very much appreciated and made us confident we had made the right decision. He even took the time to walk around our neighborhood with me, looking at other roofs, explaining different options which was very insightful. I mentioned liking the look of slate, and the possibility of a slate-look roof without the cost and maintenance of real slate. Sam found us the perfect shingle and look for our house! His attention to detail and architectural eye were helpful in choosing the right color/size/scale roof for our home. The pricing was very reasonable- very much in line with what I had expected the project to cost (even after we decided on a more expensive, custom shingle). Once the work started, it took 4 days to compete. They took their time, and took very good care of our yard, house and landscaping. They were more concerned with doing the job right as opposed to rushing to get it done quickly and move on to the next one. They used a black mesh property protection system I’ve never seen any roofing company use before. They cleaned up very thoroughly at the end of each day, and on the last day it was like they had never been there (except for the stunning new roof)! I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Sam and the crew at Garfield 1-2323 to family and friends (in fact, I already have). We couldn’t be happier with how everything turned out. It’s nice to know there are still companies out there that take pride in their work with top notch customer service!”

“Not a large park but has an ample green field (kites? Frisbee? Badminton? blanket picnics?), a playground, restrooms, pavilion w/tables & other picnic tables nearby. The picnic area: There's a drainage problem - hated seeing through the trees (until fully leaved) into a new(er?) development & suspect "them" for the very soggy land (even rows of standing water). Got muddy shoes (dodging wet/wetter segments) to play board games at a sunny table. There's a short trail, probably more about access for said development.”
