“This was my first time here. I was pleasantly surprised to find out they serve breakfast all day, which is always a good thing in my book. The food was not only really tasty, but it came very quickly. I mean, like in a flash. I also got to get some potato pancakes, and they were wonderful. Really took me back to my childhood. This is a place that is ice cream but also food, local favorites like Lake Erie perch and chicken paprikash, as well as other typical Cafe offerings. The outside of the historic building is charming, and there are tables on the porch and in the garden. I highly recommend eating there if you can. The inside is just average, but eating on the porch, with such a great breakfast delivered so quickly, I was quite happy. I'll be back. And next time I'll also be trying the ice cream!”

“Super freindly and quick service (sat at bar but they had high tables and regular table seating as well). TV's had game on and easy to see. Seemed like a good local crowed there for lunch and drinks (usually a great sign). Grouper Tacos were flavorful and excellent. Lots of menu options for sandwiches, appetizers, burgers, wings, and more. Atmosphere was nice and that of a resturant with a bar... not a bar with cheap food.”

“Would give a 5 if the servers were a little more friendly, the last couple of times she was super short and snapped at my grandmother when she went to let her know of an alteration to her food once she heard one of us ask for no mushroom. “My wife and friends were walking through Vermilion and decided to stop into the Wine Vault. It was the best decision we ever made while in Vermilion! The bar is cozy and surprisingly quiet given the place was packed. The bartender and owner, Josh, was friendly and took very good care of our party. The food was absolutely delicious!!!!! I would not have expected this caliber of food in a wine bar and the price was very reasonable. Can’t wait to visit again!o”

“What an amazing place. This is truly Heaven by the lake. The nostalgia of all the classic items throughout the restaurant and the service was outstanding. Best service we have had in a long time. They are a 10/10. Don’t pass this place up. Because of the service we will be back and the food is the bonus. It was so delicious and filling. I can’t put it in words that are worthy enough for how good it was. Don’t walk but run here for multiple meals. I can’t wait to go back again. Love it!!!”

“I waited by the deli for 10 minutes to get the employee standing behind the counter to acknowledge me. The acknowledgment was it would be atleast 20 more minutes before I could get any lunch meat. He was counting money on the meat counter! I was a regular customer in this place long before it was the Country breeze. I am not sure I will return.”

“Beautiful grounds, nice, friendly staff. Parking for rv's and campers is a great spot and the music was great too. My husband bought a bottle of your Cayuga white wine. Sadly I had a migraine when we pulled in so I couldn't enjoy all you had to offer. The vineyard is nice with the cross and pond. We definitely will make this a stop when in your area while traveling.”
