“I ordered a pizza sub and cheese bread with marinara sauce from Minelli’s Pizza this past Friday night and it did not disappoint! I walked in and it felt like a family owned Italian restaurant. There was a nice woman at the front who was chatting with regular customers about local people/things while she cashed them out and another nice gentleman asked me what I ordered and gave me my food with a warm smile. When I got home (15 mins later) my food was still piping hot and fresh and it was delicious! I highly recommend.”

“Decided to go off the beaten path this morning. Went to Lois Mann's on High Street. They have been at this location for 11 years and 40+ years at their previous location. My waitress was Julie, very good waitress that checked on me numerous times. Ordered a #5- 2 Eggs, hash browns and biscuit and gravy. The eggs were cooked to a perfect medium, the hash browns were made with skin on potatoes that had a phenomenal deep potato flavor. Could have just ordered a plate of them. On to the star of the show, you get this huge biscuit, perfect texture, split it open and pour a huge bowl of gravy on it. Gravy was made with a nice sausage. Yummmy!!! All this for $6.95. Cheap and delicious food is a major plus. On to what everyone talks about, the decor. Place is one big Christmas Decoration. And quite the collection of guitars all over the place. I will definitely have to come back for the lunch menu sometime. Everyone needs to check this place out, especially if you have kids.”

“Large variety of actual food, not just "bar" food. Food came quicker than expected. 4.5 stars, only because condiment's missing. Fish wrap didn't have tarter sauce like menu said, but was otherwise very well cooked and put together; came with generous portion of fries. Pretzel bites were perfect! Also ordered bologna sandwich that was very plain, could have used cheese? They did provide mayo on the side after we asked. Seemed like staff was having a hard time keeping up with full glasses; however, there was a very large group of folks in the dining room, reunion or something. There was live entertainment that kept patrons engaged. Overall, nice place, will return.”

“I’ve been here in-person before, but most times I opt for an Uber Eats delivery when I just want the food and not a show, or to socialize. This restaurant has the BEST tasting sauces, from the Yum-Yum, Ginger, to my favorite, the “umamiest” Egg Yolk sauce. I usually go for the tasty Hibachi options, but tried the lower costing Chicken Fried Rice. It wasn’t giving the same flavor punch as the Hibachi - so will likely not try that again. Wasn’t bad, just wasn’t great. The sauces were necessary.”

“I have no idea what these other reviews are talking about. I had a unique and delicious general tso's chicken. Amazing pork fried rice and a pretty large sized egg roll for under $10. Decent portions and the side of shrimp toast I had was literally the best shrimp toast I've ever had. While a bit greasy if was absolutely divine. My niece got a wonton soup with 4-5 wontons inside for under $3. She was pleasantly surprised. Give this place a chance for sure.”

“The joint did not have the old Long John's Silver look or feel. It was a vibrant and colorful place with a very authentic mural with a great NoLa look and feel. Even the sticky floors reminded me of the south. I had the Chef Special and the catfish was juicy with a great thin breading. The wings were supposed to be hot and spicy but tasted more like sweet and spicy. The gumbo had a excellent tasting thin roux with yummy sausage and chicken. However it was missing a bit of the holy trinity with no okra or celery. I was a bit disappointed. Yolanda was a great host and is the reason for an extra star and a half.”

I got the quarter rack and quarter chicken combo is order chicken combo with potato salad and salad. My chicken was absolutely delicious possibly the best chicken I've ever eaten! They were very thin and way way overcooked I couldn't even eat them and I was really looking forward to them. They were too tough to bite.
