“With a name like ~Burger Hut~we expected it to be a tiny place without many choices on the menu. We were so wrong!! Not only do they have burgers, but they also have BLTs, subs, chicken and shrimp dinners, hot dogs and so many different sides- mushrooms, onion rings, fries(loaded and not loaded), poppers. They also have a huge selection of breakfast items to start your day off!!! The prices may be about average or little more, BUT definetly get your moneys worth and more!! Which makes it not your average meal!!! The drive thru service was friendly and much faster than you would think or expect with the items we ordered. The food was great tasting and was so filling that we couldnt finish it. Definetly recommend this place and know we will go back for sure.”

Plus, can not enter from State Street, that's their lot's "one-way" exit (stupid) which was intentionally BLOCKED by staff cars (dbl stupid). Staff said locals exit north via Perrydale Alley.”

So we decided to check it out Saturday evening and I must say what a pleasure, it was definitely worth the wait. The atmosphere was amazing all the hustle and bustle of the kitchen is hidden behind a wall so you don't have it spilling out into the dining area... everyone seemed so relaxed while eating and enjoying themselves. I especially got a kick out of the hand washing station outside of the restroom....Also I had the pleasure of meeting the owner his wife and his children. Their service is top tier. The women always smiles and really appreciates her customers! Not to mention I seen a man asking for gas money one day and she gave it to him no questions asked! They’re amazing with their community! Their food is AUTHENTIC, MOUTH WATERING And SO FRESH! They are clean with their food and wear gloves! I drive almost a hour 2-3 times a week to get their food, I won’t go anywhere else! I know they’re close to getting their new truck so I can only see them going up from here! “So we decided to take my husband to Old Carolina Barbecue for our Father's Day celebration this Saturday night.... I love how they left up the dividers in between the tables and they added new black tablecloths, making the dining experience so amazing!! (WE tend to talk loud, lol so it definitely helped having the dividers up!) 😉 it was an amazing experience and the food was like the best I have ever tasted... I could never make something like that at home!! We WILL definitely be going back!! I think we found our new favorite place. We walked away with our bellies full and smiles on our faces!! THANK YOU!!! BTW... I had the chicken strips tonight for the first time they were the best chicken strips I've ever had in my life LOL.... especially dipping them in that wonderful barbecue sauce....
