Address: 892 E Steels Corners Rd, Stow, OH 44224, USA

Park

“This place to a great place to bike or walk yet still be by places to eat, but there is not enough nature or civilization for this path to have a real atmosphere; with it being between a highway and a city there isn't much to really define this path. However, it is still a good place to bike and get food.”

Silver Springs Park

Address: 5238 Young Rd, Stow, OH 44224, USA

Park

“I take my dogs here all the time. The dog park is large and fenced in, giving them plenty of space to run unrestricted. The pond in the center is deep enough that dogs can swim if they want, but it has a fairly low slope at the edges so they can just wade. There is a separate, fenced off area for small dogs and puppies, and an airlock style double gate to make sure all the dogs stay in their designated areas. The grass is well kept, and the sandy beach area always has plenty of tennis balls laying around if your dog is inclined to play fetch.”

“What a gem! Love this place! I was so blessed to have the opportunity to look through professional telescopes for the 1st time in my life! Had no idea they were going to be there! Saw Saturn's rings, moons craters among many other things. Thank you Kevin for sharing your equipment and knowledge! The next night Ken showed us the space station pass by! Wow! Thank you to Ken the park host as always! You are the man!! Can't wait to come back next year!”

Sherwood Acres Park

Address: 4344 Foresthill Rd, Stow, OH 44224, USA

Park

“New for 2022... Playground! See photos. Nice little neighborhood park. I am deducting a star only because there could be a few benches or picnic tables near the playground. The playground is nicely maintained with some swings and a slide/jungle gym structure. Definitely designed for smaller children. There is plenty of open space in the park to run around in or toss a frisbee, but not large enough for football. A very nice feature of the park is the small covered shelter. With room for about four picnic tables. There is on street parking only, but there is room for several cars.”

Crestdale Park

Address: 4570 Timberdale Dr, Stow, OH 44224, USA

Park

“As a playground it's very small but the trails are pretty good”

Wetmore Park

Address: 3135 Kent Rd, Stow, OH 44224, USA

Park

“A very nice and unique neighborhood park. I am deducting a point because they could provide a few picnic tables or improved picnic area. The park is very nice with some pretty areas to explore around the stream. The stream is typically not flowing, but is still nice to explore. There is a winding trail around the park. There is a new bridge (2020) that was added that provides an easy way to get across the stream. Besides the new bridge, there are two smaller bridges tucked inside the park... one is a very nice rock bridge. There is no playground or level play field. But still a nice park to explore. The park is a nice way to take advantage of an area that might have been simply used as a storm drain.”

Bow Wow Beach

Address: 5027 Stow Rd, Stow, OH 44224, USA

Park

“I very much enjoy this park. People don't always follow the posted rules, they will bring small children in or unaltered dogs. If you go, please be a decent human and don't set the other dogs up for failure. Do not bring food, small children, or aggressive animals. Otherwise the park is a wonderful trip. The lake is enclosed inside the park with ample room to play, swim, and run. The water is treated and filtered but use your judgment. Animals use the grounds and water as a bathroom on occasion. It is not safe for human use. There are portable toilets on site and an area to rinse off the dogs. There is a small dog area as well, but it does not access the water. There is shade available and places to sit. Definitely bring towels for the ride home!”
