“Amazing bread for very affordable prices. This bread is basically artisanal, I used to walk by this bakery on my way to school and would always smell the fresh bread cooking. Eventually I stopped in a few years ago to see what they had and I ended up going for the health nut bread, and tbh for 3.50 it's the best healthier option bread I've had. I just lightly toast the bread and add whatever on it or use it for runny eggs but, I went down recently just for some brioche buns and realized that I've had these buns many times in many restaurants, like their buns. “Heard about Crumbl cookies a few months ago. Decided to check their website and see what the hype is all about. Decided to give it a try and rate it myself. Went with a 4 pack of their weekly rotation cookies. I must say, they are fricking amazing. The french toast cookie looked and tasted so, so good. No doubt they are pricey at $15 for 4. But they have a genius marketing campaign with the weekly releases. They have exploded in just 5 years. Not sure how many times I can afford these cookies, but they have me hooked seeing what new ones are available.”

“Busken apparently has been around since 1928. The ladies working at this location told me everything is baked fresh locally and delivered daily. The counters are filled mainly with cookies, the snap ones with the star of chocolate or other flavor in the middle. Behind the counter are some tasty donuts. I would have said till now that Marcella's has the best Cincinnati donuts, but after testing these, I'm definitely going to do some more field research. The main attraction for me was the Busken Double Butter. I'm not sure if it's a cake, a Danish, or what, I just know it's heaven in a box. It's rich and buttery, with a crumbly top. So delicious! They have coffee, too, and a couple of little tables for eating in. They have breads and other pastries, especially a cheese filled pastry cup that is quite good.”

The front area is a lot less cluttered and you can see clear to the other end of the store. The women's underwear department needs to be organized. As with most stores they are offering less variety. “Best Donuts. They're under new ownership, which had me concerned about quality, but there was no need to worry! If anything, things have improved as they now have a greater variety of pastries and donuts, and they make an extra batch, so you can stroll in after 8 am and still get out with a dozen donuts in a dozen different flavors. My wife loves their Jelly donuts, which they have in at least 5 different fruit flavors. My kids always want rainbow sprinkles. And I want those glazed croissants. So. Good. Oh and the folks working there are so friendly and nice. Just a fantastic experience from start to finish. I'd give them more stars if I could.”

“The staff is amazing. The prices are phenomenal, especially for the huge, fancy, unique donuts you get. They have so many crazy amazing donuts that are not available anywhere else. My favorite is a couple of their "girl scout" cookie flavored, buckeye, and their filled to the brim donuts. Check them out before you go to any other donut shops around. The big donut chains better watch out! These people love their job and you know it after eating only 1 bite. Nice to see people that still love what they do. That's hard to find these days. It shows from the way they greet you, the customer service, the personal touches to decorating the donuts, to the repeat customers they know by name!!
