“I can't recommend The Madisson Inn enough. I have boarded my dogs at several kennels in Delaware County and Amanda (owner) is by far the most responsive, caring, and knowledgeable of them all. The facility is immaculate and I love that it's in a country setting so the dogs don't feel so closed in as with many other facilities. During my pup's most recent stay, my elderly dog had a health scare and Amanda immediately took control of the situation. I felt confident that my baby was in just as great of care as she would have been if I were there. Not only that, she cried right along with me when we weren't sure of what her outcome would be. If your dogs are family, don't go anywhere else. I certainly never will!”

“Brought our Fifth Wheel to Harbor Landing based on a friends recommendation for a weekend spot to visit Cedar Point. I have to admit we were very skeptical at first. There were a fair number of older mobile homes being demolished when we arrived. It was late in the day so we decided we would be at the park all day and it wouldn't bother us. The owner assured us that this work would not be done on the weekend and it was not. After a trip to Cedar Point we spent Sunday at Harbor Landing - met the owners who had just taken over the campground who said they were starting a lot of work to update the feel of the park. We stopped by again in late October and spoke with the owners again and wow what a difference a month made! Looking forward to going up again this year! Very reasonably priced! Great sites! Nice people! When will on line booking be available!?”

“I ended up here at this shelter when I lost my husband due to a death in 2006 , and a death of a father in 2008. Moved to Butler county, Ohio to be closer to church family and ended up here. I was "still serving the lord" and was in shock. Ms. Ceal Snow and Tammy Burger are simply amazing and don't reqret one day of being here and being a resident. I did was I suppose to do and then ended up with the lawnmower to cut the grass and pull weeds. I was almost the only one without children so I ended up helping the other moms. To this day I would just love to be a "mom" and I am not but someday when I own my own home , God will give me that opportunity to be a Mom with babies. I would welcome the opportunity to be a mom with adopted babies . I even went to school at "Omni" on central avenue for customer service and business professional and completed the course. Thank you to Center of Hope for doing everything for me of what you did. Just because you live in a shelter does not mean you are a bad person , it just means your in a part of your life that needs regrouping to be a "Successful Star"!!!!”

The entire staff was friendly and accommodating and our guests could not stop commenting on how good the food was. The Bertram is a tried and true place for weddings!”

“You feel like you're home from the second you walk in the door. The atmosphere is so calm and peaceful. My wife and I enjoyed sitting out on our balcony watching nature and listening we left the balcony door open all night and I slept so comfortably. Charlie's cooking is delicious, nothing beats those homemade flavor. Her and John are friendly and stewards of what customer service truly means. I would recommend this place to anyone looking for a quiet getaway who enjoys nature. Their swans had recently had babies when my wife and I arrived. We took the paddle boat out to get a better picture of them. We wandered the trails for a while when we first arrived. They have a couple donkeys who love carrots and a small coy pond with some beautiful fish”

“Clean and well maintained. The lake was fun to swim in and staff was friendly. The only complaint (similar to others) is the sites are a little tight and you're very close to neighbors. If you want more wooded sites, these aren't for you. We only stayed for two nights but overall enjoyed our stay.”

“Absolutely stunning room that took me back to my childhood. So clean, so comfortable, wonderful staff. Slept like a baby in the huge canopy bed. Bathroom was very large with separate room with door for the toilet and great shower over tub. A table in the bathroom for all our cosmetics and toiletries. Huge sink in the bathroom and smaller sink for making drinks in the bedroom. Wonderful buffet breakfast in the gorgeously decorated basement. Took a tour of the basement after breakfast…very entertaining. I would travel to Mentor just to stay here. We were at the end of a 2000 mile round trip from the Midwest to Massachusetts and back when we stayed here. Of the six places we stayed during our trip, this was the very best of all. I will be back and stay more than one night. Eating at the Manhattan Deli down the road for my lox and bagel fix.”

“We stayed in one of the small cabins with our two toddlers for an event and we had a great experience. The cabin was cozy and it was great to have a mini fridge and private bath with our little ones. The bed and pillows were also really comfortable. The grounds were great and had plenty of room for a variety of outdoor and indoor events going on at the same time. The owner was really great and we enjoyed the on site pizza place. We are looking forward to coming back again and checking out some more of their events.”

“I absolutely loved my two-hour ride with my guide Theresa. Two hour rides are $70 and you get a beautiful ride through the hills of their property. There are some steep uphills and downhills to make the ride fun. Theresa is an excellent guide and I felt relaxed and safe. Great for all experience riders. I’ve already recommended to anyone asking for a great place to ride!”
