“What a powerful and moving experience. The museum, which is very professional and thorough, focuses primarily on the roles and experiences of Jewish communities in northeast Ohio. The current exhibit about survivors of various genocides and their stories is as remarkable as it is gut-wrenching. I can't believe I didn't know about this museum; I'll return often.”

“Phenomenal breakfast restaurant, I could eat this chicken and waffle eggs Benedict everyday. The quality of ingredients was above average and the hollandaise sauce is incomparable to any I've ever had. I would 100% recommend this to anyone who appreciates high quality breakfast and exceptionally affordable prices accompanied by great customer service. This is my favorite breakfast spot in the ENTIRE valley and 5 stars isn't enough in my opinion.”

“The room was very nice and clean. Location was great. There were a bunch of restaurants within walking distance. The staff was really great -- always friendly and greeting me. One, in particular, is the woman who I think was in charge of breakfast. She would always come around to make sure everything was ok. One morning, there was a gentleman in a wheelchair getting breakfast. She helped prepare his plate and even helped him with his food. I was very impressed by her above and beyond!”

“I consider the Little Red Schoolhouse a historic staple for the city of Willoughby. The building has been renovated beautifully (quite some time ago) and always looks nice. The surrounding flower gardens/landscaping are charming and well kept. Having enjoyed the schoolhouse's presence there my whole life, as many long-time Willoughby residents have, I have no doubt that it is a valuable and appreciated source of positive reflection, connectivity, and sense of community. These subtle-yet-quintessential elements of vitality offered by historic landmarks are often overlooked... There have been talks, lately, of plans to demolish it and other buildings on site. In my opinion, that would be a huge mistake. I believe that the value of the historical aesthetics and wholesome symbolism it provides are being underestimated by whomever is proposing its demolish. If there is a petition to sign in order to prevent its removal, I will sign it.”

“This is a cool little Heritage museum for the town of Silverton. It's only open on the 2nd and 4th Sundays for a few hours, so it's hard to catch unless you plan ahead. It's run by the block watch association if you need to contact someone about any extended hiatus. Inside they mostly just have photographs, and the building is not original. It's a 1970's replica of the train station that was here as part of the Cincinnati-Lebanon-and-Northern Railway until the 1930's when they stopped using it for passenger trains. It's a pretty tiny park but they have a UDF next door, so it's a nice place to sit and enjoy a milkshake.”

“Beautiful peaceful grounds. Temple closed and you can’t reach up to see inside but walking around the grounds is a reverent and spiritual experience.”

“The guide Chris and the property manager (forgot her name) are awesome. The amount of passion and info they have is so enlightening, entertaining and enriching. This stop had to have been the highlight of our trip. Who knew this small stop would have been so fun. What made it more special was visiting on July 3rd. Can't picture a better way to honor American history. Parking seems to be plenty, make sure to check out the rest stop across the way. Just be warned the actual stalls have no doors, its basically a glorified outhouse. Admission is $3 adult and $1 a child. Check it out, the house has a pretty unique history!”

“Part of adventuring takes you to places you'd might not usually go - and although I don't have any true interest in "traps", the amount of information, history and entertainment that came along with this visit was exceptional! They also have the world's largest and world's most expensive "traps". Everything from Giant bear traps to mouse traps! Get the tour from the owner, or you'll miss a whole lot of fun! Enjoy!”

“The museum is run by volunteers. The depot was most interesting. The train ride was short and sweet. I understand the weeds grow up around the tracks, but the majority of the area was overgrown. There are weak places in the floor of the cars we toured. The train parts were not organized or marked for display. Rather these items are strewn along and the weeds cover quite a lot of what might be catalogued and displayed. The box cars have been vandalized. One of the out buildings had a new roof. It would be wonderful if someone with the knowledge could write a grant and use that for the major improvements that are needed to perserve the history of the railway.”
