“First time getting injured on the job? This is the place to come for knowledgeable and intuitive treatment. I was fortunate enough to have acupuncture, physical therapy and massage. All of the therapists were kind, thoughtful and damn good at their job. Thanks for all you do for the community.”

“We are really grateful for James. One of our family members was diagnosed with scoliosis and we were devastated. We searched all over and tried different things before we found James and Functional Patterns. Our family member has gained 15+ pounds of muscles in 6 months, experiences no pain, and has more confidence. Also, they were not an easy case and had never had a serious workout in their lives! Overall, we feel more optimistic about the future. James also encourages habits and self care outside of his practice that have been insightful and appreciated. He’s just a really swell person and we appreciate his dedication and heart to help his clients.”

“Paul is the best!! I'd been having back pain that was preventing me from doing some weightlifting and Paul listened carefully, gave me a thorough check-up, and prescribed lots of personalized "movement snacks" to keep my back moving, along with targeted resistance movements. He also walked me through how to safely get back to the lifts I had been avoiding. He went over everything with me and did a great job helping me understand the movements and the purpose behind them. I'm very happy to have the confidence that I'm on a path toward a healthier spine!”

It is always very clean and very well staffed and everyone I worked with was always Courteous and attentive. “The staff here are fantastic! Professional, knowledgeable, compassionate and helpful. I had a back/hip injury that had made walking and jogging difficult and painful, and I'd almost given up hope that I'd get back to normal. I worked mostly with Hayden, who was very supportive and encouraging. He made sure that I was kept challenged, but he also listened and dialed back the intensity if an exercise was too difficult or painful for the moment. The rest of the staff seemed very friendly and welcoming, as well. After a few months of therapy and targeted exercises, I am able to go out on pain-free runs and hikes again for the first time in a year! I highly recommend Benchmark Physical Therapy. Thank you so much!”

“I’ve been seeing Dennis for over a decade. He initially helped me overcome chronic neck pain from a vertebrae that was crushed in my youth but not diagnosed until I was in my twenties. After 15 years of chiropractic and massage maintaining a “tolerable” amount of chronic pain, these treatments stopped working. To avoid immediate surgery I visited Dennis on a strong recommendation of a friend who had had the neck surgery I was facing then had visited Dennis when her pain continued. After a handful of visits I was pain free and, once I implemented the exercises he’d recommended, spent the last eight years 100% pain free as it related to this neck abnormality that had caused me near constant pain for 20 years. I’ve seen Dennis for shoulder surgery recovery, frozen shoulder, knee surgery recovery and general maintenance. My soccer playing teenage sons ask for appointments with Dennis when they’re in pain as they know he’ll provide immediate relief and they do the exercises and stretches he gives them to do. My wife has seen Dennis for plantar fasciitis (said she felt ten years younger and walked twenty blocks with no pain immediately after her first appointment), my daughter has gotten relief for pain from severe scoliosis and he has helped get two of my kids through concussions. More often than not Dennis’s first assessment is right and he can provide immediate relief. My insurance doesn’t pay for his services but I know that I’ll pay far more in copays elsewhere going to many more PT appointments with normal physical therapists. Dennis wants you healed and not coming back and, when my family members and I do what he tells us to do, a couple appointments are all that are needed.”

“Dennis was the first care giver to actually diagnose me. He asked a lot of questions, put me through some movements and positions and studied responses. He notices things like adaptive posture and walking gait. Only then does he do treatment. Everything was tailored to my condition and done in specific order. Release this muscle before that one. Pain is opposite dysfunction sometimes. Everyone Ive sent here has gotten relief and come away understanding what they have and how they can maintain a better condition. Dennis is great with chronic people. Living without pain or medications is the only way to live. Dennis made it possible for me.”
