With regard to my recent experience at their Pro Desk/Checkout process, it was great. The cashier that rang up my purchase was friendly, knowledgeable, and super efficient. Sometimes the lines can be rather long, but the cashiers move the line along as best as they possibly can. Also, a supervisor will step in to help when they see that a line is not moving along as it should.”

“A small corner of Portland's Hoyt Arboretum, the Winter Garden has a collection of plants and trees that are particularly showy in winter. Without leaves to block the view, the Corkscrew Filbert's twisting branches are easy to see if you know where to look. One of the parks largest Western Red Cedar trees dominates this section. Other interesting trees include the Torch Maple, that shoots its blood-red trunk from the ground, especially dramatic when it snows.”

“I'm a nurse and I was helping out a patient on my own time to get some meds that insurance wouldn't cover. I was absolutely amazed at how kind (and competent) the pharmacist was. The pharmacy tech just didn't know how to handle it when it turned out that the med was not available. The pharmacist stepped in without even being asked. He just overheard my conversation with the tech. He spent quite a bit of time online trying to locate the correct medication which has become extremely difficult to locate at all. I left the other prescription my patient needed and went off to Walmart while it was being prepared, hoping that I could find some of this medicine that's so scarce. Walmart, to say the least, not only didn't have it, they were not helpful at all. In the meantime at Safeway the other medication they did have in stock was ready. The tech asked me for $144 for a 5-day supply! That sounds terrible, but at OHSU where they also had a supply, it was over $300. Still I was a little shocked and the tech said that the GoodRx number I had given wouldn't work. This blessed pharmacist stepped in again. He just overheard the conversation again and very kindly said, "We've got all kinds of GoodRx cards around here. I'll find a way to send her home with at least one of the medicines she needs." Instead of $144, I paid $21.95. He ended up spending more than a little time on this. It's not like he kept any other customers waiting. There were pharmacy techs who were able to fill prescriptions so no one had to wait, and he just made it his business to go over and above. The man deserves a medal AND a RAISE. Safeway pharmacy manager, are you listening?”

Meat is higher quality and processed better than American markets. They have smaller choice for packaged good but all the standard stuff. One of the only markets that has deer brand super quality jasmine rice for good price. This is my overall go to market because of cleanliness and options.”

“I am such a huge fan of Dr. Green! She has helped me a lot and has been very patient and caring. I even told her once, she has great empathy for people. I tried on a pair of headphones for a walking tour on vacation, and thought they were broken because I couldn't hear them well. As soon as I got back, my primary Dr. referred me to Mt. Hood ENT, and I'm so glad he did. Dr. Green was able to test me and get me set up with a great set of hearing aides and now I can't imagine my life without them. I love wearing them! I always receive top notch care at Mt Hood ENT and they have an incredible staff. Through my "hearing loss journey", I learned a valuable lesson. Always get a baseline test to refer to in the future! I wish I had done that. Even if you hear great, get it tested so that if you do experience hearing loss over time, you have something to compare it to. Just another great suggestion I got from Dr. Green that I always pass on to others. If you are looking for the best possible care for your hearing, I can't think of anyone better than Dr. Green.”

“Moved from Portland, OR down to Southern CA with the help of West Coast Moving. A friend of mine had booked them to move their grand piano across town and were so impressed with them that she booked them to move the rest of her home items. They came highly recommended to me so I booked a consult on short notice and Jeromy arrived on even shorter notice and was so friendly and kind and responsive throughout our consult and with the follow up communication. On moving day, Daniel, Anthony,Keenan and Royer were polite, careful with our home to not dent or scratch surfaces, and protected our furniture pieces by wrapping them well. We appreciated their clarifying questions about what pieces we wanted to load, and were happy to load last minute items- and were truly pleasant throughout the whole process ! Having hard working , pleasant and experienced movers really put me at ease in knowing our items were being loaded well and that we could expect a smooth unloading at the destination with this team. We met two of the movers, Daniel and Anthony at our destination a few days later. They arrived on time , energized, professional yet warm, and ready to unload our jam packed 26’ truck. They worked very efficiently and very well together. They were so great to ask questions and ensure that items were being unloaded at the right part of the house. This was ultimately incredibly helpful with my own unpacking and the need to move around boxes to the right place. They handled our items with care . Daniel and Anthony were honestly so pleasant to be around and they kept a great pace throughout the move, that I felt motivated to unpack my boxes and be productive too. It was so nice to not have any major surprises when unpacking, and to see that most everything had arrived in the same condition as when we packed them.
