“The earliest markers are from 1860s. A very Iarge Pioneer cemetery. A large "Indian bean" tree in the middle with pretty flowers in season. Large oaks. Many of the names in this cemetery are the names of the local streets, roads, and areas. Very few markers are newer than 1950s.”

“Pleasant cemetery off a semi rural road. Had to squeeze past a locked gate. Cemetery gives the odd impression of all the graves huddled at the top of the slope, no doubt due to German and Swiss efficiency, yet there is one lone outlier tombstone down by the road in a corner, which inexplicably had black candle wax and a red candle on it. Suicide in unhallowed ground? Died of contagious disease? It’s a mystery.”
