“Cool place, lots of great trucks, cars, fire trucks, construction vehicles. The history is really nice to see. Donation only to keep it funded so chip in a few bucks. These old guys that are running this are working hard and getting up there in years. We should transfer some of this knowledge before it disappears. Check the place out”

“Not bad at all considering they are far from finishing the construction of the layout. What has been built looks great. They do offer private tours of the rest of what they are working on Sundays.”

“Five Oaks Museum is well worth your time. The exhibitions are developed with care, intellect, and empathy, with a a lot of thought to who they are partnering with. I always keep an eye out for what is next. This image is "Butterfly Maker" by Greg A. Robinson (Chinook) part of This IS Kalapuyan Land guest curated by artist Steph Littlebird Fogel.”

“I have been to this Museum a few times but was able to explore some additional items this go round. It was great seeing some of the motorcycles and especially the Honda collection. I was surprised they didn't have more motorcycle options from other makers Honda seemed to predominate. Some of the great old cars were fun to see including the old Alfa Romeo it was brought in. Also in this museum is a unique pipe organ where the owner or curator has taken the pipes and pieces from a variety of different organs and combined them into one so that you're able to play a lot of very unique sounds. Also a fun part of this as that viewers can come up and join the organist and play a little bit themselves. This was a lot of fun for my daughter and her friend.”

“My daughter (age 10) and I arrived just after they closed last weekend and the kind volunteer (I forgot her name) opened the doors and let us wander around and pepper her with questions for a solid 45 minutes. Very interesting collection of historical items. Old chainsaws, record players, rocks, photos, dolls, and the list goes on and on. So glad we were able to spend some time there.”

“I ABSOLUTELY Loved it!!! If you enjoy rocks and crystals and petrified wood, you must go. I am little obsessed with my crystals and wish I had made time to go sooner... All of the specimens here were amazing. The info that goes along with them..fascinating. At first I felt a little guilty about going alone, but nobody I know has my deep fascination and I know it would have been frustrating had I needed to rush because of bored friends/family. If you have youngsters that enjoy rocks, take them. It is very family friendly with special things to do to keep them interested and learning. The grounds are beautiful. Take a picnic on a lovely spring day!!! I left knowing so much more than I did before and I got to see the biggest thunder egg ever!!! The gift shop was stocked with specimens, games, jewelry and other cool things that you may be able to order online, but why when you can get them right there!”

“As a PNW native you get exposed to a lot of big foot enthusiasts so if you cant beat em.. This place is a super cute roadside attraction/museum. It was clean, well kept and seems like they add to it regularly since there were a couple of "new attraction coming soon" signs. This place is very fun and campy. Cute gift shop, the staff were very friendly and helpful. They do have a restroom available for use. I would say this probably wouldn't be really fun for young children as most of the displays require reading (not a bad thing just a heads up for parents) Very fun way to spend an hour and very affordable.”

“DON'T come here expecting to see EVERYTHING within only a day! Do yourself a favor & plan to spend an entire weekend at this AWESOME event! It takes at LEAST 2 days to FULLY enjoy this event! I went one day last weekend, & both days this weekend, & barely was able to take pictures & video of 99% of the show! Being that I have great mobility, I thought I could take in the entire show in a single day. I COULD have, but I WOULDN'T have been able to video any of it, or take pictures for that matter!”

“As a landscaping designer and builder in California I love gardens and I know a thing or two. Everywhere we go with my family we visit different kinds of gardens. I have not seen anything like this. The peace and happiness while enjoying a walk in this garden is hard to explain in words. I'm in awe. Every tourist who visits Portland, Oregon must see and enjoy this majestic garden. Arrive early for easy access to parking.”

“Nice park next door to the museum and although we didn't get to visit the museum, we did talk with the gardenar who was onsite. What a pleasure! Also that park is beautiful, we walked through the stand of trees, took pictures of the many butterflies and played hide and seek.”

“This day today was a day that was their holiday bazaar it was free entry. A variety of things to buy wood, metal wall hangings, made leather purses, and more. Beautiful little cottage where you could buy food to eat chili, chili dogs, coffee, sodas, water, chips, pie, desserts very inviting. Colleen was very nice serving us our food. I went with two friends. We looked at the trees in the yard. There were apple trees & plum trees that were planted. They are approximately 130 years old. The yard was perfectly manicured & very well kept. We really enjoyed ourselves today!”
