“I run a dog rescue in Delaware and I've been using Mullen's Truck repairs for years. Keeping my van on the road is life and death to homeless/unwanted dogs that I rescue and transport. Yet, I have to admit that as important as my van is to me, I'm afraid too many times I've let my normal maintenance work pile up and by the time I contact John I'm in a crisis and need the repairs done yesterday so I can get back on the road. Once he had to send a driver to TOW by van from his location in Linwood PA to New Castle DE when I broke down on 95 in New Castle DE! Whew, that was scary b/c we've all heard of people crashing into the rear of vehicles that are broken down on the side of the road. I was SO glad to see his driver pull up and get me safely in their truck and tow my van back to his shop. I'm a senior citizen, so I've seen a thing or two in my lifetime! Too often when I've dealt with other auto repair service companies -- you feel like you are not sure you REALLY need the repairs that they say you do .... but I trust that if John recommends repairs it's because it's in the best interest of keeping me and my van safe on the road. “The blower for my wife's car had started making a noise then stopped working. I called and Shane answered the phone. He was in charge while Mike took a few days off. Shane scheduled me for the next morning! In a couple of hours he called and was finished. This problem was caused by a mouse! Built a huge nest in the blower stopping it! He cleaned it out, put it back in and it's good as new. I want Mike to know he left the business in good hands. Thanks again Shane and Mike for all you've done for us over the past few years. “Jay is the man. Drove 6 hours to have him tune my 2013 Genesis Coupe. He walked me through the process and kept me informed on the changes he was making after each pull. This guy knows his stuff! I was able to get an increase of about 60hp/30tq over his stage 1.5 canned tune that I had previously. He was also able to dial in the water methanol kit that I had installed as well. I'll be back when it's time for a bigger turbo!”

“I second the comment that Dave is a superb mechanic. He's also super honest. I have an aging SUV. I've had the clutch, radiator, and plugs replaced here (and yearly inspection). I called multiple shops in the area for clutch quotes; most places were way over the quote I got here. They were also upfront about recommending certain things and giving me tiers of options. It's really hard to find an honest shop. I keep returning because these guys are honest and they do good work. I just had another issue where my oil pressure light was going on at idle. The gauge would completely drop. They looked at it today and tracked it down to a kinked tube (probably from the kid at the quick lube spot a few weeks ago). They fixed that and charged me a bit for labor. Doesn't get better than that. Could have led me down the path of replacing the sensor or toward replacing the oil pump ($$$). The gas here might not be cheap, but the shop is awesome. I just moved West a bit from Glen Mills, but I'll keep bringing my car here.”
