“Full five star in every area! Already became one of my favorite family vacation spot. Staff is amazingly helpful and forthcoming. They have a nice gift shop in the office area also selling any item one can need for camping like charcoal etc. great thing is the prices are amazingly cheap and owners haven’t jacked up the prices. This shows the commitment of this campground management toward making the stay of customers as enjoyable as possible. Keep up the good work!”

“Staff is always very welcoming. If I were closer, I would definitely visit more often. My only feedback is that the restrooms in the nightclub desperately need a remodel.”

“A group of 5 of us went snowboarding at Shawnee Mountain yesterday. It was the first time that 3 of us had ever snowboarded, and only the second time for the other 2. We live about 25 minutes away from Shawnee Mountain, so it's nice that it's so close. None of us own snowboarding gear. We got the day pass and rented gear. The rental process was easy and quick. The rental gear was all in good shape. They have lockers to store your personal items. The snowboarding lessons were great. The lesson slope was super crowded, but it was a Saturday, so understandable I guess. The instructor was great, very patient and worked with everyone. Were weren't impressed with the dining options. We ended up leaving and going to a local restaurant for lunch. We had a fun time overall. Great for beginners. Will definitely be going back to try skiing and to go snow tubing.”

“Stayed at this incredible historic bnb for just the weekend. Gail (the owner) was an absolute sweetheart and made sure our stay was perfect. She cooked an amazing breakfast for us and always had great ideas of things to do in the surrounding areas. Me and my boyfriend stayed in the waterfall room which was so charming and had beautiful views of the waterfall and the river. We can’t wait to come back! Thank you so much Gail! ????”

“Great little campsite. Beautiful views, a great playground (and a second playground that would be great if not for the exceptionally muddy season) a beautiful pool, well maintained facilities. Serene during the week, and a kicking friendly weekend crowd. We'll be back!”

“It’s going to be hard to top this B&B! The house is beautiful and the outdoor space is inviting and relaxing. My boyfriend and I stayed for three nights (August 2018) and our stay exceeded our expectations. Leslie cooked delicious and health breakfasts. The breakfasts were so filling we skipped lunch. Leslie and Gene are lovely hosts. We really hope to plan another stay next year!”

“Loved staying at this place. The villas are very spacious and accommodating. It can be a little tough trying to navigate to and from since it is nestled into the mountains, and people can drive a bit crazy. Would definitely love to come back in both summer and winter. There is a nearby ski resort that looks fun, and it would be fun to do the mini golf and other resort activities when the weather is a bit nicer”

“The front desk was wonderful. We were tired it was a last minute booking, they treated us with kit-gloves. The room was clean the beds were really comfy. We even had time to enjoy the heated pool before shut eye. Complimentary breakfast was very satisfying. Friendly staff. Oh they do accommodate your four legged family”

“This site is only accessible by canoes or kayaks. There is no public road access to the campsite. Secondly, the site is maintained by the NPS, (National Park Service) within the DWGNRA, (Delaware Water Gap National Recreational Area). People found camping at this site that are not on a river trip or camped at the site for longer than one day can expect to receive hefty fines from the NPS. This site was actually an Eagle Scout project according to the signs. There are two different levels to the campsite, which is nice for boaters. We were able to leave the boats on the lower level,(yet more than high enough that the river is no issue), and camped on the upper level. There are railroad tie stairs from the river up to the site, making it nice weather muddy or dry. This is actually the second to last site on this section of river. After another 1/2 mile and there are no other campsites for more than 20 miles, and those are private or reserved sites. There was quite a bit of room, and the site was very clean. According to all the literature this is a site with no road or trail access. HOWEVER, as dusk fell, a small group of local fishermen came walking through the camp to access the river. It turns out the locals know this place well and it is very popular with the anglers. Upon leaving this site you will only travel down river about 30-45 minutes before you come upon Shawnee Golf Course. Beyond that another 20 minutes and you find yourself at the New Jersey Welcome Center and Mt. Tammany, a large mountain that forms the eastern side of the Delaware Water Gap. It has a moderate difficulty hike that takes about an hour an a half round trip to complete, but it has the most incredible view. You have to go to the top if you get here. If not it will always be one of those "I should have" memories. The Appalachian Trail also cuts across the top of this mountain. All in all, a great campsite, just do not be surprised if in the middle of the night you have local fishermen visiting.”
