“I bought a beautiful cherry wall unit for my home office including book shelves, glass door cases, cabinets, desk, etc. from Lizell nearly 20 years ago - it still looks and works extremely well for me. Recently one of the drawers jammed so I took a shot and called to see if they could help. They no longer carried that line but after sending an image they said they would see what they could do - it took 24 hours and the drawer was repaired, good as new along with touching up any nicks and getting a polish all for a nominal fee. Incredible service after all of these years. Mike Walsh was great to work with, but Lou was the miracle worker - what an asset for Lizell. I highly recommend Lizell - but only if you want quality products and services and phenomenal support for decades.”

She engaged in conversation about our needs. She worked hard at the register to get us the best deals. She made the experience wonderful. “I purchased a fine carpet runner from Tapis in the Mall. I worked with Maggio on the sale of the runner carpet I selected. He showed me a decent selection of oriental rugs, more than I expected for these times. All industries are recovering from the pandemic and some are having a difficult time getting their products back in the stores. It's been over a month since Giant food stores ran out of canola mayonnaise and every trip to get groceries, I'm told the same thing in every Giant in the area, "We have regular Hellmann's but they are behind in making the canola mayo." For over a month?!! But I digress. Maggio was friendly, honest, knowledgeable, and happy to give me a needed education on oriental carpet and tapestry manufacturing and exporting. I am satisfied with the in-house work he did in custom handstitching the border of the carpet I selected, as well as with the value and price. I would definitely return to his store first, if or when I have a need for quality imported carpeting. It's a mystery to me why there are negative reviews against Tapis. I guess some people just like to complain. Is it too much to ask for low-calorie mayo? I suppose my life could be worse.”

“Awesome store, awesome staff! I came to this store in search of an electric guitar but I wasn’t entirely sure what kind I wanted. I talked with Josh and Justin and they were both friendly and kind. I was helped by Justin who was very knowledgeable. He showed me a bunch of guitars, let me take as much time as I wanted to try them out and offered much needed tips and suggestions to help me narrow down my search. I was at the store for quite some time but he was patient and didn’t pressure me to come to a decision even though it was nearing closing time on a Sunday. I went home that day with a guitar that I absolutely love, thanks to Justin. I’ve been to the store a few times since then and my experience has always been great. This is my go-to place for all my guitar needs and I highly recommend it!”

“I first visited World Market in DC. Really like shopping there. Happy to find this local version that has most of the same items with the exception that the D.C. Store has an extensive wine and beer selection. This store has a nice selection of China and glass and also an area with gourmet food selections that are difficult to find elsewhere. For example chocolate covered marzipan which I really like. Thy also have olive oils and vinegars at reasonable prices. Cookies and jelly from all over the world will tempt you. This store also sells furniture and rugs also reasonably priced. I found the staff to be helpful and friendly. Finally, I scored some excellent delicious chocolate covered pecans that were on deep discount for .30 a bag. Can not go wrong there. Will be back for sure.”
