Keystone State Park

Address: 1150 Keystone Park Rd, Derry, PA 15627, USA

Park

“This was our first time camping here. We stayed in lakeside cabin #1 and it was perfect. Swim beach was “closed” due to an algae bloom so there were very few people across the lake from us. The campground is very well maintained and heavily wooded. Many sites are located along the edge of the lake. The restrooms are very clean! There are several hiking trails that are worth exploring. We hadn’t really considered this as a camping option before but we were all surprised and very impressed!”

Slovak Society Picnic Area

Address: 1210 Industrial Blvd, Latrobe, PA 15650, USA

Park

“We were guests at a picnic thrown by the FOE Eagles. It was a little deceiving driving down the gravelly bumpy road. Once back the road there were nice picnic pavilions, a large building where the food was kept, a playground area, volleyball nets, horseshoe pits and 2 sand pits under pavilions to play bouchi ball. I was pleasantly surprised. It was a great venue for a picnic!!”

“My husband and I stayed in a modern cabin here and had a wonderful getaway. This park has a nice 2.2 mile trail around the lake with a few other trails. There's great fishing and birdwatching. EV owners will find a level 2 J1772 charger at the boat launch.”

“What a great campground. Took my grandson here. Will definitely be back. Pool was amazing”

Lazy Acres Campground

Address: 199 Slag Rd, Derry, PA 15627, USA

Campground Rv park Lodging Park

“Super quiet campground located at Keystone state park. The only negative is that the water is not drinkable. The sediments stained our ceramic toilet and shower brown. We couldn't even give the water to our dogs, else they'd get sick. We had to get the five gallon jugs from Walmart for all of us to drink. We could use the "tap" water for showers and dishes and laundry but even then, we didn't like it. The monthly rate wasn't too bad at all considering the water problem. Electric, sewer and water were all inclusive. The park owners were very kind. And the park kitties were super cute! Lots of beautiful wildlife around, too: groundhogs, pheasants, deer, raccoons and bears! Close to Latrobe (about 15 minutes).”
