Zoo Lodging

“Sweetest park with a beautiful variety of animals! I've been coming here since I was young and have always loved the interactions. Goats, pigs, horses, deer, camels, peacocks, tigers, wallabies - you name it! This place has it all! I highly recommend this spot for families, friends, anyone that wants to be close to nature for a few hours. Easy to find the location, a gorgeous gift shop, and a mini golf course is right down the road ⛳”

Living Treasures "Wild" Animal Park

Address: 268 Fox Rd, New Castle, PA 16101, USA

Zoo

“A fun way to spend a few hours for any animal lover. Great for kids and adults as well. Birds, deer, kangaroos, alpacas, zebras, flamingos, etc. The little bird aviary is really cute. The goats are hilarious. I'd pay the admission fee just for the goats and birds....good for laughing.”

Pittsburgh Zoo & PPG Aquarium

Address: 7370 Baker St, Pittsburgh, PA 15206, USA

Zoo Aquarium

“This is a great place to go with family. I especially enjoyed the elephants, although I am sure they regularly change their exhibits. If you go, plan on bringing extra money for drinks and food. A bottle of Aquafina was $5.35. You could also opt to bring your own water and snacks, but make sure you follow the rules. Today when we checked into the gate, we didn't have anyone check our bags. But always follow the rules they have on their site. It took us about 3 hours to walk briskly around the Zoo. If you want to take your time, I'd give it 5 hours and plan on eating. For those with walking troubles, you can rent a scooter in advance or rent a wheel chair. There are lots of hills to plan for, so make sure you have a good pusher for the chair. It is a wooded area, but sunscreen is still a good thing to have. Most of all, have fun! Hope this helps.”

Wild World of Animals

Address: 295 School Rd, Bentleyville, PA 15314, USA

Zoo

“Amazing experience. Had them do a show for my daughter’s birthday party a couple years ago and now my sons party! Very interactive with the kids. Animals were well taken care of. Jaime was our presenter. You could tell she has a true passion for these animals! Highly recommend this over a petting zoo. Money well spent!”

Critter Country Animal Farm

Address: 914 PA-981, Smithton, PA 15479, USA

Zoo

“Went there this past weekend and thought this place was a fantastic hidden gem. I would recommend a visit here for sure. The animals were all pretty active and happy looking. Properly priced and recommend buying extra feed of your choice. Everyone with us had a great time and would come back again for sure. Only thing I would recommend is to have a proper rest room/sanitary station in the front/exit with the temp hand cleaning stations moved to other corners for maximum coverage with touching numerous animals/items.”

Claws 'N' Paws Wild Animal Park

Address: 1475 Ledgedale Rd, Lake Ariel, PA 18436, USA

Zoo Park

“I'm not really a fan of zoos, but I have to say, for a small zoo, all the animals seemed to have plenty of space. And there were many workers constantly cleaning cages and their living spaces. Wear your hiking boots because the terrain is like a hiking trail. Strollers and wheelchairs were there, but were having a rough go at times. It's a small, and seemingly well cared for place.”

Land of Little Horses Performing Animal Theme Park

Address: 125 Glenwood Dr, Gettysburg, PA 17325, USA

“I go there every year for my birthday. It never disappoints me. Every year there is something new, I am 1 hour and 8 minutes away from it, it is worth the drive, and more!”

Awesome Dog Park

Address: Hoch Rd, Fleetwood, PA 19522, USA

“Park very good. Some owners should have common courtesy to control their dogs when continuously jump up at you and you are letting them know "Off" but they continue. Dog owner should keep their dogs in control.”

Pocono Snake & Animal Farm

Address: 424 Seven Bridge Rd Rt.209, East Stroudsburg, PA 18301, USA

“Very nice farm! The place is small but it allows you to see the animals closer than you would see in a zoo. Ticket is $8.5 for adult. You can pay extra for bear/monkey food/goat+ pig bottle. We also got to pet a bunny. There were some unique animals that we never got to see in the zoos we have visited, such as alligator snapping turtle and sloth.”

“Love this zoo and it's fairly large! I took someone from out of town because of it being the 1st zoo. It was a cold November day and it wasn't crowded which was so lovely for someone from California to visit! We were able to quickly get through the zoo. The otters are the best and lots of the animals were awake and playing which made it a good visit”

Pennypack Pavilion

Address: Philadelphia, PA 19111, USA

Zoo

“Came back to this old familiar landmark after some years. So nice to see something that hasn't changed in so long. I've been coming to Pennypack since 1993 and have been from top to bottom. Can't handle those hills anymore but it's still a nice park to walk in. ”
