“I’ve been having a great experience with advanced lawn solutions. Our grass is Bermuda and they know what they are doing. It’s not like other grass and they know how to treat it. Our lawn has looked great! They have been professional, responsive and reasonably priced. No complaints. I highly recommend them!”

Smyrna Parks & Recreation Department

“I went to the Smyrna Kids Safety Day. They had the new play area/museum (don't remember the name), open to the public and the new pool area. The entire place was spectacular! It was good fun for several hours. They have a padded style room for the kids to play in. You have to be a certain age to go up to the top and wear closed toed shoes, but it was pretty cool. I will definitely be going back for my daughter to go to the top. Plus the pool area had an awesome splash pad playground for the kids. It has giant water slides and a pool. There was a discovery room inside for the kids to learn about wildlife and nature. There were several interactive activities to do inside as well. Besides just that, the playground in this park is gigantic. Literally the biggest playground I've ever been to. They have several platforms for multiple ages. There's also a splash pad in Smyrna that is great as well. I think Smyrna is exceeding expecations and going above and beyond to make this a wonderful city! It is truly great to be a parent in this city.”

“Great park for a quick walk with my leashed dog. Other people there weren't rude. Bring your own poop bags; there are plenty of trash cans. There was only litter/trash along the sidewalk by the road (thrown from cars), otherwise the park is super clean & well-kept. Lots of benches in the shade, very picturesque.”

Jones Mill Mountain Bike Trail

Address: 9933 Barnett Rd #8501, Mt. Juliet, TN 37122, USA

Park

“Jones Hill is a really fun trail. There's not much uphill/downhill but is not a smooth ride. There are plenty of roots and rocks to navigate through, so a different kind of technical. This was the first mountain bike trail I've been on in over a decade but would highly recommend. Wasn't sure the total distance until after, but decided to ride the entire loop. The trails are well marked staring with the gray trail, orange trail, blue, then the red trail. The total distance is about 9 miles, and took me an hour an half to finish. I had a great time, just wish it was a little closer to East Nashville.”

Greenway Searcy Trail Head

Address: 1208 Searcy St, Murfreesboro, TN 37129, USA

“A fantastic greenway! A great place to walk and bike ride. However, it’s probably best to avoid visiting directly after a severe thunderstorm, because there is some flooding (depicted in some of the photos I included)”

Lee Victory Recreation Park

“This is a wonderful park. They have 2 full playgrounds. One of them is able to accommodate players of all ages. I was able to play with my kids and never felt unsafe as a full grown adult. They have 6 tennis courts that me and my son checked out. My only wish was that I could find a court with a solid wall to practice on my own as well”

Lake Forest Park

Address: 403 Holland Ridge Dr, La Vergne, TN 37086, USA

Park

“Had a good time pushing my little one on the swing. I like the open view of the sky all around, I'm thinking the center of the playground would be a great spot to set up a telescope and invite the neighbors to view the rings of Saturn and such.”

Gladys Blanton Park

Address: 129 February St, Murfreesboro, TN 37129, USA

Park

“Of course I'm giving it 5 stars. This was named after my Great Grandmother or as we called her Nannie. She was so tickled to have this park named after her”

Poole Knobs Campground

Address: 493 Jones Mill Rd, La Vergne, TN 37086, USA

Campground Lodging Park

“I stayed here for 2 nights while visiting the area. The campground is secluded and peaceful; many of the sites are on the lake. The campground feels very safe. I also enjoyed watching the sunset over the lake both nights. My neighbors were a bit loud, partying into the late night, but I know that’s not the fault of the grounds. The only real con for this place is that the bathrooms are quite the trek from many of the campsites…if you have a camper, that’s not an issue, but if you are tent camping like I was, be prepared to either drive to the bathrooms or take a long walk!”

Nashville I-24 Campground.

Address: 1130 Rocky Fork Rd, Smyrna, TN 37167, USA

Campground Lodging Park

“My wife and I stayed at I-24 campground for 2 1/2 months while our house was being built and enjoyed it. The staff is very friendly and helpful, the spaces are generally big enough to park 2 vehicles. It is very close (Not within walking distance) to all your shopping needs and a lot of restaurants. Nashville and other attractions are fairly close The provided restrooms and showers are always clean and have enough available and they are centrally located. There is 5 washers and 4 dryers. I think the washer is $2.25 and the dryers are $.25 for 6 minutes which we found was several dollars cheaper than the laundromats in the area. There is lots of room to walk dogs and a large pet area. It would be nice to have a large fenced area to let the dogs off leash to run. There is a nice playground for kids to play and plenty of room for them to ride bikes and scooters. The pool wasn't open but it looks very large with a fence and shade. The campground store has lots of items for sale that you might need during your stay. I wasn't able to get the wifi to work because other rigs were blocking the signal and there isn't any TV cable but I was able to use a hotspot because the Verizon signal is strong in the area. Great stay thank you I-24 campground!”

Miles of hiking trails, usually a scenic route next to the river. There's even a wildlife center with live animals and a convenience store/gift shop. They just acquired even more acres. I can't wait to see what they do with it.”

Hilltop Rosenwald Park

“This park was relatively small but it was clean and offers paved paths for strollers, multiple basketball hoops and a playground. The paved loop is only .45miles long (why not do a full half mile? Interesting choice) but offered shade. We went at around 9am on a Saturday and spent about an hour walking the path.”
