“We went on a Saturday afternoon. There were plenty of available tables, and we were seated immediately. Our server was attentive and friendly. Fresh chips and salsa were brought out right away, and the margaritas and cold beer followed close behind. The chicken fajitas were delicious, and the amount of chicken was impressive. “Top Hog has some of the BEST catfish in middle Tennessee. We ordered the catfish platter and the hamburger. The catfish filets are cooked to perfection! For the sides, we chose the white beans with onions and chow chow (which were really good) and the collard greens (the greens are really spicy, even for someone who likes spicy) so be prepared if you choose them! We also had an order of onion rings, which have a nice flavor with a thick semi crunchy batter. You can’t go wrong choosing to eat here! A couple of things to note, the prices are very reasonable (especially for the portions you get) they seem to be super busy at lunch and dinner time (could wait 30-40 min for table) and they only accept cash or check, no credit cards! Having said that, it’s worth the wait as well as the cash!”

“The food was good but it wasn’t as good as it could be because it wasn’t made with 100% Mexican ingredients like most truly authentic Mexican restaurants are in the southwest. My chicken enchilada tasted like it had some type of cheese whiz in it. I’m not sure if that’s what it was, and it was alright but authentic is better. The chips were very good. They were light and tasty and the salsa was a perfect blend of tasty and just the right amount of spice. Cindy had seafood tacos. I took a bite and they were absolutely delectable, they were nearly perfect white meat fish that was light and sweet. I’d go again. I would encourage you to try it too.”

“Amazing 5/5 horchata! Best horchata I’ve had in the area. Had the enchiladas verdes. Again, they were amazing! Great authentic Mexican cuisine. Marked down 1 star because prices were not easily visible and I thought the food was a bit overpriced for what you got. Spent $19 for enchiladas and horchata. No sides. I would go again to try something else and to get more horchata.”

It's not a bottle definitely a house made ranch!! The bomb!! Like I'm going to get some for take home, the recipe something! I usually make my own but YO!! This is..better than anything I have had in ages! I ate a few days ago ye I kid you not, I am still craving that house ranch! I ate with my 10yr old son. His chicken tenders were so good! “I haven't been to the Gallatin Waffle House in several years. It was going down hill with horrible employees and the place was dirty with roaches. I was pleasantly surprised today on June 30th, 2022 that the Gallatin Waffle House has dramatically improved to 100%! Our Waffle House is clea, the employees are wonderful! The waitress, Charlotte was so wonderful and great! She took in consideration I am diabetic and everything was taken care of. My waffle was delicious! Everyone should go to the Gallatin Waffle House, I had a great experience!”

“We purchased 5 different 18" pizzas for 5 families including children and it was the perfect amount to even be over stuffed. We had the Nashville Hot Chicken, Deluxe Hamburger, Slim Shady, the Animal (meat lovers) and a cheese for the kiddos.
