“I am temporarily in a wheelchair recovering from hip surgery. May 8, 2023 was my first visit to this store and I required a motorized chair (provided by the store). No fewer than a dozen employees offered assistance throughout my 2 hour shopping trip, from a gentleman helping me operate the scooter when I arrived until a nice man helping me when I left. No one was condescending or obvious about their offers of assistance - they were just bright and cheerful and kind. I wish I knew the names of these great workers so I could praise them individually, but they were in every department from pet supplies, housewares, patio/gardening, and cosmetics. “Enjoyed the nostalgia of "record shopping". My own daughter, did not know what a 45 was. (I was shocked, and a tad saddened). Found the first Journey album, I ever owned, in great condition here, and made the purchase. This little, slightly messy shop, haphazardly set, in this quaint historical town, was worth every step down memory lane! We also enjoyed looking at other memorabilia as well. Most of the people commenting on this CLEARLY don’t understand the difference between a song, as it is written, and a song as it is recorded. Even if a song © is in the public domain, a sound recording (p) can be owned and profited off of. It is really hard to get a YouTube channel off the ground, especially with the oversatursation of content, but trying to use unlicensed music and then blaming the company for taking what is rightfully theirs is not the way to do it. The fact that music is “in a game” does not mean it can be used however you want. Just because you know who wrote the national anthem doesn’t make a specific recording of it free to use. Just because you make a YouTube video for your 19 subscribers with what you believe is “original content” doesn’t mean that you are free from obeying other copyright laws. Also, this may be a little petty, but if you don’t know that it’s spelled “COPYRIGHT” then I have a hard time believing that you understand the nuance and intricacies of copyRIGHT law”

“Just fantastic. I booked through Lance. I’d called but he was in a session so he text back, which was fine by me. I prefer texting. Within a week of my session, he reached out to confirm me and got me in touch with Chris, who was my recording engineer for the session. I recorded in Studio B. The space was great and the sound was good. The only issue I had was the Google map is not clear about the turn off so I passed it and there’s not really anywhere to turn around that’s close. I was able to jet off into someone a driveway when the traffic cleared a little.”
