“Talk about a hidden gem. I’m just gonna parrot what everyone says about the friendly owners and the atmosphere. We’re usually out and about on Saturday or Sunday afternoons and this has become a favorite stop. Having recently relocated to Mid TN this is exactly the type of place we look to frequent. Great coffee, great treats, and great conversation. The owners couldn’t be nicer. I personally recommend the blackberry mocha, aka Papa Byrd. For those who complain about the wait, we’ve never waited more than 10 or 15 minutes, usually well under that. If you drive by a food or drink establishment and there’s a line that should tell you something. If you want the green queen you can find that in Franklin. But if you’re in a hurry on Leiper’s Creek Rd you’ve got bigger problems. Looking forward to our next visit!”

“If you’re looking for an experienced, professional, knowledgeable electrician that shows up on time, Mr. Hyde is the answer to your prayers. We were having some issues in our master bedroom which we thought might be just another bad Apple cord. I replaced the cord. Still had an issue with it but then a lamp started flickering. One day, all the power in the room went off. It didn’t throw the breaker. Then all of a sudden, everything came back on by themselves!? I knew it was an electrical issue and I could not sleep at night thinking that we might have a house fire. So like a lot of people, we took to Google to “ fix it ourselves“. We tried to troubleshoot it ourselves thinking it was the TV or lamp that might be bad so we unplugged everything and plugged things back in. It seemed fine for a couple of days. But then the power went out again completely just in that room. Then it would all come back on in about 10 minutes. Finally, it kept flickering off and on every few minutes. (the whole room!) Then in the kitchen, switches were turning on lights that they weren’t supposed to turn on. They were on a different breaker than the master bedroom! It was like the house was possessed. Seriously, I was afraid to sleep in my house because I thought it would burst into flames. I needed an electrician who knew his stuff! I didn’t want our house burning down. I saw a few recommendations for Hyde’s electrical service on the Facebook group “I love Dandridge“. I gave him a call and he made an appointment for me the very next day. He was on time for the appointment and he figured out the problem in no time at all! To ease my concerns, he offered to checked several light switches, sockets and the electrical panel. And I’m glad he did because he found an issue with our heat pump setting off a breaker. Thank goodness our unit is covered by warranty and they will be out Thursday. His prices were so much more reasonable than the other electricians we have hired in the past! Hyde went above and beyond even after fixing the issue. He gave me peace of mind so I could sleep at night again. He truly is a treasure and if you’re looking for an experienced (22 years), knowledgeable, professional electrician that actually shows up, then Mr. Hyde is your man. Mark did a great job of making sure I would meet weight and height requirements and there were no surprises for the driver or myself at pickup. “Just fantastic. I booked through Lance. I’d called but he was in a session so he text back, which was fine by me. I prefer texting. Within a week of my session, he reached out to confirm me and got me in touch with Chris, who was my recording engineer for the session. I recorded in Studio B. The space was great and the sound was good. The only issue I had was the Google map is not clear about the turn off so I passed it and there’s not really anywhere to turn around that’s close. I was able to jet off into someone a driveway when the traffic cleared a little.”

“Beautiful dog park 😍 Had such a great experience here. We have been passing by this park for a month now and finally had a chance to stop by today and check it out. It's a small drive to the backside of the property giving you such a beautiful view of the surrounding land. Plenty of Parking space for large vehicles or small vehicles. If you have a camper or a trailer you can park ahead just before coming to the actual park and it would be a small walk for you. They have seating available. In my experience today I let my pet run freely and all the other pets were super friendly so it was like watching a bunch of kids playing together 🤣 No worries at all , definitely recommend bringing a gallon of water and a bowl so when your pet gets thirsty he or she doesn't have to wait. Bring a few tennis balls that you don't mind losing. Bring some snacks for yourself because today we spent nearly 3 hours hanging out here the weather ended up really nice for the dog park 😍 Bring some doggy bags for when your pet has an accident , they have trash cans available for you to throw your waste bags in. I would definitely recommend you stop by here if you have been interested in a nice dog park for your pet. Have a wonderful day!!! 😁”

“Yesterday was Bill's birthday. We had to stay home just like everyone else due to the weather. We had to postpone the only thing Bill wanted for his birthday- a sushi dinner out on the town. Around 5:30 we were watching a movie and there was a knock on the door. Before Bill could answer, we heard the happy birthday song being sung by a crowd out in the hallway. Bill was greeted in song and shouts of "Happy Birthday!" They brought him breakfast snacks from the bistro. There were lots of laughs and then they were gone. Here's the best part. As Bill opened a package of cheese and nuts, he said, "Aw, I have friends here." To me, that was like a million dollar gift. I almost cried. Avenida is a place of friendship and joy.”
