“My baby cousin was buried in Edgewood Cemetery in 1938. In 1985, my grandmother ordered a marker for her grave. To my knowledge, nobody in the family bothered to go to the grave. I set out recently to find it. I visited the section where the grave was supposed to be but I could not locate the marker. Elizabeth from the office told me that she would see if the cemetery workmen could help locate it. After an initial try, they couldn't find anything. The old cemetery plot maps are very hard to read and not in proper order. Yesterday, Elizabeth, the cemetery foreman James, and his helper, Chris offered to meet me in the area where the grave and marker should've been to search for it. They had metal rod probes, and I came equipped with my pitchfork. They believed the marker may have sunken under the ground. We probed for about 30 minutes with no results, but the staff was determined, and I wasn't ready to give up. Finally, my pitchfork scraped metal. After pulling back the dirt, I had found it! The staff were all as excited as I was. They reset the stone and placed sod around it to make it nice. I was so pleased with their persistence and kindness. I was reassured that this marker would not be forgotten.”

“After moving to Mt. Juliet I did research for days on where to take my car for repairs, I couldn’t find one bad review on Mark’s so I went with them. Now Mark’s is the only place I will take my car to be worked on. Every time I’ve taken my car to them it has been fixed quickly, with no issues after the fact, and for a fair price. I’ve also had them tell me when things aren’t needed for my car when I’ve asked, that again shows they are more interested in being an honest company than anything else. They are a fair and honest and they care about doing quality work, which isn’t an easy thing to find anymore. They are a family owned business and seem to rely more on word of mouth than doing a lot of advertising. I would 100% recommend Mark’s to anyone who needs work done on a vehicle.”

“Hidden gem - don’t miss this - it is all yummy at a level 10. I am ALLERGIC to milk and dairy - no problem, they had 3 non-dairy flavors which was awesome for me - mango, pina colada (or pineapple- can’t recall, and a blueberry flavor. That was a win for me. Scrumptious! However- - this place is crowded and the toppings are self- serve. Yummy fruit and nuts and chocolate chips and whipped topping and chocolate syrup and the list goes on forever. But back to self serve elements- I followed about 5 teenage boys and I kept thinking to myself, “now what did they touch before walking through the door?” There was a bottle of hand sanitizer near the register but by The time the person got to the hand sanitizer they had already touched all the spoons.The toppings are behind a shield but it’s still a little dicey. I gave 4 stars because this bothered me. I also gave a 4 because this bowl of soft serve was quite pricey. I no we live in the DMV area but must everything be $12? Boooooo!!! Rate that a 3. My dessert was a 5! This averages 4”
