“This is a great park! My 3 and 6 year old sons love it. We have some pretty nice playgrounds where we're from, but I'd say Charlie Daniels Park is at the top of our list. Every time we travel to the Mount Juliet area, we try to make an effort to spend a few hours at Charlie Daniels. We've spent most of our time at the children's playground. There is a lot of variety and a lot of vibrant colors. It definitely keeps our kids' attention for a while. We haven't used the splash pad, but there's one right next to the kid's playground. There are also other amenities (skate park, basketball, etc); however, we haven't walked much outside of the children's playground. Attached you'll also see a new exercise area that they built, which is pretty neat.”

“Beautiful setting, plenty of parking, picnic tables close to the playground. Although some people evidently don't know how to read.,. It clearly states it is a tobacco free playground but there are cigarette butts everywhere. The lake seems well taken care of. (No trash). Just very nice to take the kids & skip rocks or like my granddaughter likes to do is throw little rocks in & make a wish. We even found a few shell's.”

“Great Park to enjoy a good walk, plenty of ballfields, playground for the kids. Area for your Skateboarding, an PLENTY of area room play basketball. Holidays the Park has lots of activities. In the warm seasons Outdoor Movies, Big Covered areas for having a Cookout with Family. There's a Beautiful Memorial Brick Wall with our Military brothers an sisters whom We Lost during war. One of my favorite parks in this area.”

“This was a nice park that I decided to run at while my son was busy with an activity. The trails were good and it wasn't crowded at all, but it wasn't long enough for me. I prefer quite a few miles of trails and I had to run these a couple times just to get my mileage in. I would also be concerned about using the trails when lighting isn't good because there wasn't a ton of light but I was running in the middle of the afternoon.”

“9/3/22 - 9/11/22 Our camping experience was one of the best thus far. The facilities are kept in top shape, the site is perfectly level and the views are magnificent. The campsite is super secure and even has Sheriff Department presence on site over the weekends and holidays. They have the most amazing host who goes our of her way to make our stay the best possible experience. We'll definitely return to enjoy this great place. A+”

“Best Park in town. Has a little bit of everything. They just added a new playground for the kids. Plenty of open fields and also forested and shady areas. Miles of hiking trails, usually a scenic route next to the river. There's even a wildlife center with live animals and a convenience store/gift shop. They just acquired even more acres. I can't wait to see what they do with it.”
