“This place is a gem! The owners are excellent and the place is a country oasis (even during a drought). We felt the most safe here for the 100+ days we stayed. You can’t beat the rates and the amenities (laundry included for long term stays, WI-FI //strong connection: I worked remotely here everyday// S P A C I O U S lots w/picnic table and fire ring, private restroom and hot shower, kid and pet friendly) Every single person we met here was so down to earth, fun and just good people. Forever grateful that we found this campground and were able to stay awhile. *Best Christmas decorations*”

“This place is so beautiful & unique, with a lot of animal's from Africa. But I don't believe in hunting for a trophy, only for food.”

“We loved our stay at this cabin. It was so quiet and relaxing. Being able to view the stars & the Milky Way was an amazing bonus! The house has everything we needed and plenty of space to spread out for our family & dog friendly. The wraparound porch is where we spent the majority of our time, the views are great! We would definitely stay here again.”

“Called the camp ground got a hold of Carol Ann she was able to make room for us. The road to there is a little rough but was totally doable with our big rig. 36 ft Class A with toad. We were greeted by Andrea and her daughter. We were able to pull in to our spot with our tow vehicle attached. Wow what a beautiful, peaceful campground. You don’t even have to leave the campground to enjoy the wild life. Well maintained and just cute set up. There is not a bad space in this campground.Go down and walk on the river and just get lost in your thoughts! The rocks on the river has such characters . So many things can be created! There was a problem with our rig. Lyn was so gracious to let my husband use his tools and shop to fix it . Andrea, the camp host was full of information on sight seeing. Went to Lost Maples well wroth it. Hill country state park is real close also well wroth it. Just 45 minutes away from San Antonio. This campground is in our top 10 list!!!”
