“Rented the BR Hester Complex Event Center for my 10 Year High School reunion and it turned out fabulous. Staff was very helpful and responsive. Loved that we could get both the event center and the pavilion next door for an all day event. The price of the venue was a deal for what you get and the layout and rental add on's worked perfect. Would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a place to host their event.”

“This was my favorite park when I lived in Clute last year. Possibly, it's my favorite park ever. Plenty of picnic areas, clean and tidy playground and soccer fields, and amazing nature trails. This park is rarely crowded, but there are always enough families nearby that you feel safe walking on your own. Now that I've moved, I miss my peaceful walks here! I'd have taken this place with me if I could.”

“UPDATE 12/9/19 - Park was opened successfully on 12/7/19 and is a fantastic addition. Facilities are excellent, and the rules of the park are posted right at the entrance. Very happy with the landscaping and set up of the park for both the small dog park and large dog park. The park is open from dawn until dusk, not 24 hours. As of 10/31/19, the park is still under construction due to the grass needing to take root correctly to provide the best results. Three reviews before this with one star, while making me laugh, are sorely misinformed to believe that the dog park was finished with construction and opened. The city of Lake Jackson has done an excellent job communicating construction status and this park will be a fantastic addition to our community when it is complete.”

“Beautiful area, free camping. It's wonderful to have a little bit of freedom. Police have driven by, but haven't stopped to bark silly orders. They just smile, wave, and pass through. Boon docked for 2 weeks with my wife and 4 kids. We all enjoyed the entire stay. We live full time in our RV, and this has been one of our favorite places to stay.”

“Our daughter's softball team had a tournament in Lake Jackson, so we decided to bring our travel trailer and stay at this RV resort. The management was extremely friendly and very accommodating. We arrived late Friday night and found all our paperwork waiting for us next to the office. They allowed us to leave our trailer in our spot late on our last day since we were unsure of when we would be done with our tournament. The park is very clean , nice and because it is gated it feels very safe. Very nice spots with concrete pads, especially the ones next to their little lake (Like a large pond with fountains.). They had a heated pool but we did not have a chance to check it out. If we are in the area again we will definitely stay there again. Thank you again to the management for being soo flexible with us.”
