“I was in town for work and wanted pizza and a salad. Behold, Barro’s!!! I was greeted as soon as I walked in and I glossed over the menu. The employee who’s been working for the company for over 20 years recommended their version of a supreme pizza and in a personal pan size. It was more than enough food for me. I added a glass of wine which they also have. The pizza was phenomenal and paired perfectly with my salad! Food so nice, I ate there twice! It’s packed on the weekends but great for everyday! I will definitely be back!”

“If you’re considering just go lol this will be your new go to Mexican restaurant. I got Ernesto’s Platter (to try a little bit of a lot) and the chimichanga. Wow- I was so impressed, I didn’t really expect it to be as amazing as it was. The salsa was the only thing I didn’t like as much it was very roasted and the red salsa if I remember correctly was pretty watery and too tomato tasting, the chips were good. The nachos had beans , cheese and beaf of some sort and are to die for. The quesadillas and the flautas were yummy even though they are basic they were still flavorful. The stuffed jalapeños had a fried breading with chicken and cheese which was unique and yummy. The chimichanga cheese sauce was yummy (didn’t taste artificial) and had flavor. The avocado didn’t taste weird or artificial or flavorless. Online the platter says it doesn’t come with sour cream but I wish it did (would of been a nice dip for the flautas and quesadilla. It’s now a new favorite restaurant in rotation.”

“9/14/22: This was our first visit. Came for a couple of drinks. We sat at the bar and Melodee was bartending. We had a beer, a Blueberry lemonade and a jalapeño cheddar bratwurst. There were plenty of TV's throughout, and a large TV outside. There was a very large backyard area, with picnic tables and outdoor games. There was a very large liquor and wine selection available. Lots of high end bourbon and tequila. We met the manager, Tim, and we had a nice chat about his vision for the place. We would certainly return!”

“Went here for a birthday and my first “high tea” experience. The table settings, decor, and environment is so dainty and pleasant! We had tea (lavender to be specific), if course, which I enjoyed. We also had scones, zucchini bread, pastries, cucumber sandwiches, and chicken salad sandwiches (all pictured below). I wasn’t crazy about the food, but I think some of it may just be acquired tastes and I’m not used to any of the dishes. It’s a great place for intimate gatherings with girlfriends, or any of the women in your life. I’m glad I went. It was a change from the typical Dallas restaurants and bars. It was 9 of us total and we each paid $30 even.”

“The place reminds me of New York style food places. It has a buffet and different size of bowls. The food it's tasty and very fresh. The space it's a bit limited, so if you have groups bigger than 4 this may not be your place. It also has a couple of tables outside. The place is perfect just to get a quick bite of good Mediterranean food with a friend or in my case my brother, but it's more like a fast chain than a sit in restaurant. They do take out and delivery apps, so you can try that too! If you are looking for a date spot or variety on the food you may one to try something else.”

“I'm still not sure how I've never been here but I loved it. Their Christmas 🎄 was amazing. There was a wait, it smelled so great, we weren't leaving. “Was such a good eating experience. The waiter was extremely helpful in discussing certain dishes. The owner came to greet us as well. Fried chicken was so crispy, tender, and juicy. The burritos are a childhood memory and having me there as an employee, is exactly why they get 5 stars. Besides the wrong signs being up in the store (out dated store and much needed remodeling and which will be happening shortly), besides some people with their even more outdated views, if Angel is there (me), i will always make sure to take care of EVERYONE, any race, ethnicity age, or size. Customer service is the key to making the experience more enjoyable when the store let's you down. Again, this is a much older store with much older systems and patience is key to enjoying your experience here. Patience is a virtue!”

“Revisited Brass Tap today and as usual, 5 stars on everything. Our server was Steven, he patiently explained to me how Beer Flight worked and let me tell you it wasn't easy to pick because they had so many choices! He was cordial and would constantly check on us with not in your face kinda attentiveness. We were there at Happy Hour, tried Boom Boom Shrimps and Chicken Quesadilla which were both good. Husband ordered Blackberry Farm Gourmet Grilled Cheese Sandwich with side salad and he loved it! Good food, great service and reasonable prices. Highly recommend.”
