“This place has been on our radar for a little while. When we finally visited, we were very surprised to see the restaurant almost empty when we arrived (great! More food for us!), but yet with a healthy line of pick up customers (yeah, they know it’s this good!!). However, it didn’t last long. By the time we left, there were at least 6-8 tables taken. We’re Northern transplants. The kind that are unashamed to admit we’d go to Virginia for the closest Nando’s Peri Peri. And we’re now so happy to have found this place! It is truly wonderful, from the delicious hummus and paneer cheese, to the juicy and wonderful chicken. You’re missing something in life if you don’t make your way to this little piece of heaven!!”

“We were craving Lover's Egg Roll and went to the restaurant on Coit but they closed. We could have settled for another restaurant but instead drove to this Lover's to get our fix. Tasty as always with really good portions. Best local moogoo gai pan with lots of fresh vegetables. Still under some COVID procedures as they provide everything in to go boxes even if you are dining in, but since they give you more food then most people can eat that's a win-win.”

The atmosphere is relaxed and comfortable with a good amount of room between seats. They call your order when complete over the loudspeaker which in most restaurants is terrible but they did a great job articulating names clearly over the loud speaker and making it fun at the same time.”

“Cute little restaurant. We went for breakfast early Saturday morning. Must get busy later on because they were putting chairs outside. Service was fast & good. Hubby had the chicken & waffles. The chicken was in the form of tenders, but he said they didn't taste frozen and were really good. He liked the waffles as well. I enjoyed the strawberry crapes. Very yummy! “My favorite chain BBQ joint. The smoke hits your nostrils as soon as you walk in. Let your nose guide you to the meat counter, grab a tray and utensils and proceed to give your meat order to the individual holding the knife. Post covid you will have to tell the next worker behind the counter which sides you would like. Remember they have baked potatoes as well. Then grab a glass and fill it up with your beverage of choice before paying the cashier at the end of counter.”

The portion size is a lot and it’s not all rice, they give you a generous portion of veggies and protein. Most American Chinese places don’t do that. The spicy lime wings had a unique and delicious flavor. The seasoned coating is 👌🏾. The rice and noodles were good. I was skeptical about the peanut sauce but it went really good with the noodles. The mango sweet rice was a light sweet dessert and I liked the sweetness and chewiness of the rice. I definitely look first forward to trying more. “Great spot for lunch. They are friendly and helpful to explain the menu and offer suggestions. Really all of the food is delicious and you can't go wrong. The gyros had a good portion of meat, but still felt light and refreshing. The tzatziki sauce is so good. I could drink a glass of it. As well we really enjoyed the fresh fried falafel. It was crispy on the outside and perfectly soft on the inside packed with flavor. Note: they are also available for food delivery services. We had a great experience and will be back for more!”
