“I came to Highlands-Eldorado because my Scott American Bulldog, Rosie the Riveter, had ruptured both of her cranial cruciate ligaments (ACL ligaments in people) and needs double knee surgery. I was immediately impressed with Dr. Taylor's welcoming personality, his knowledge and experience performing the latest, and less invasive, CCL surgical methods, his willingness to thoroughly explain every aspect of the surgery/PT/etc. & answer my many questions. Rosie just had her first CCL surgery. Dr. Taylor called to let me know the procedure was a success! He also sent a video showing her alert and ambulating (with a cast) only a few hours after the surgery! I am so glad to have found Dr Taylor and Highlands-Eldorado Veterinary Hospital! Rosie is my 4-legged child, and I love her beyond words. Knowing Dr. Taylor is taking care of her, reduces my worries to minimum! 🐶 ‐------------------- Update July 2023 Rosie is back home and doing great! I bought her some doggie jim-jams to keep her from licking her stitches. The pj's were so cute I had to get a matching pair for her little brother, Johnny Ringo. (See attached video)”

“ReadiVet came into our lives at a low point when the health of our beloved cat of 16 years suddenly changed for the worse over Memorial Day weekend. Not wanting to stress Genie more by taking her to a vet, I texted ReadiVet on Sunday to see if they had any openings the following week. Much to my gratefulness, Sonia called me Monday morning and arranged for Dr. Hyde and Heather to come. Dr. Hyde and Heather were gentle, knowledgeable and prompt, and they answered all of our questions and provided us with options. It was discovered that Genie’s kidneys were failing and due to her age and prognosis, we had to make the unexpected and difficult decision of not letting her suffer any longer. The whole process was emotionally difficult, and through it all, the care, compassion and patience that Dr. Hyde, Heather and Sonia showed us meant more than they may realize. Now, two months after Genie crossed the rainbow bridge, I still miss her terribly. But the sad memories of saying good bye to her are uplifted by ReadiVet‘s gentleness, kindness and respect. Although we used ReadiVet for an unexpected emergency, I have no doubt all of their routine veterinary services are conducted with such compassion and professionalism. “Honest, helpful, and fair. I brought my cat in after she fractured her jaw in a fight. They were honest in that an X-ray from them might not be useful, as theirs was too big to get a detailed image of a dental injury. They were helpful in providing treatment to symptoms of pain and inflammation, and in providing information for veterinary dental clinics in the area. They were fair in their pricing, charging much less than I was anticipating. The next morning pictured, she's eating wet food and getting by as comfortably as she can given the situation.”

“Dr. McPherson is the guy to take your cat to! Frank, knowledgeable and takes his time to explain things. More than I see from my personal doctor. Andrew is a great office manager, always there to help if you have an issue between appointments. Brittany (sorry if I spell it wrong) is also super helpful and so caring! She was comforting my cat while she was getting a vaccine shot - so caring! Front desk staff is polite, not more. They do see so many people, I can't ask for more. As far as a veterinarian goes, Dr. M is really really good, would recommend him to anyone! The only downside is that they are so good and affordable, you have to wait sometimes longer. It used to bug me, but now I just prepare to be there for an hour and half for a routine visit. Sometimes you get lucky and see him right away. Believe me, it is worth it - this practice isn't there for your money only (of course, they have to charge you - it is a place of business), they do care!”

“I don't know where the negative reviews came from but this place saved my nokio life who is a 2lb maltese who i found out had a liver shunt all of a sudden he was not able to pee he was moaning in pain. The vet helped eliminate the issue without it being a money grab and because of that i will continue to take take all my dogs there. “After following Dr. Hunter Finn on Instagram for the last year or so and enjoying his awesome informative videos, I was ecstatic to hear about the opening of Pet Method in McKinney. I was able to get my dogs in quickly for vaccines and annual exam. The staff at Pet Method is so welcoming and loves the dogs. Sarah was amazing and patient answering all of my scheduling questions and welcoming us in. Kaitlyn came right in and sat on the floor with my dogs and started making them feel comfortable and loved on. She was very patient and helped keep them calm and stress free. Dr. Finn provides an atmosphere that is stress free. He also got down on the floor with my dogs and interacted with them. While giving my dog his shots, he provided him with cheese and pet him and he was gentle and my dog didn’t even realize he got shots! It was amazing! His demeanor is very calming and my dogs responded well. He was very patient and answered all of my questions. We plan to continue seeing Dr. Finn. My dogs were very happy and loved on! Taking them to the vet has never been easier and stress free!”
