“I wish I could give Dallas Home Fabric Center 50 stars! We needed to recover and refurbish two 80+ year old chairs that belonged to my grandmother. My 86-year-old mother remembers them in her home growing up, so they are precious to me. We looked all over Dallas for just the right fabrics and found several that would do, but none we absolutely loved. Then we found Dallas Home Fabric Center and were blown away at the beautiful and plentiful fabric choices, far more than the other well know fabric stores put together! We actually had a difficult time making decisions from several we did finally absolutely love. Herschel and Sherry could not have been more kind and helpful in making suggestions, answering questions, and guiding us to the ultimate finished product we were confident we'd be happy with in our home. The craftsmanship and workmanship on both chairs is phenomenal, and we are thrilled with the outcome. The chairs are once again beautiful and proudly residing in our living room. The original design and feel of the chairs was maintained while the springs were retied, cushions replaced, and upholstery expertly done. My mother will be thrilled to see them, and I think my grandmother would love that her chairs are restored to their previous glory and being loved and used once again. Thank you, Herschel, to you and your team for giving us back our chairs in such excellent condition. We are beyond grateful for the care you took to restore our heirlooms, and we could not be happier with how they turned out. Edited to add: My mother saw the chairs on Christmas Day and was astonished by how great the old chairs looked. “High quality leather and stitching work! I had ten white, ultra-modern dining room chairs which, after a decade, were showing lots of wear on the pleather they came with. Mickael re-finished them in beautiful, genuine gray leather. I wasn't expecting them to come out looking this good! I initially drove out to the physical location, but it isn't necessary. Mickael will come to you to look at the furniture needing to be refinished, will present you with a binder of different leather finish options, and provide a quote. He picked up the chairs and delivered them when they were finished - very convenient if you don't have a truck. Great experience overall and I love my new chairs!!!”

“I had prints that were frameless for 6 years because I didn't trust the local chain stores to properly frame it. I found Sam's in Dallas and took him 3 prints. 1 of the 3, my most beloved print "Spanish Dancer" was damaged in the process of framing. I was heartbroken and in tears. Unfortunately, the company that I purchased from could no longer replicate the print. Sam was very apologetic and worked tirelessly to correct it. I appreciated greatly how he owned up to the damage and his offering of a consolation. He concealed the damage to where it's only now noticeable upclose. His friendly demeanor, willingness to go above and beyond to satisfy me as a customer and the quality of work exceeded my expectations. “We met with Paola Diaz on a couple of occasions and were blown away by her willingness to help us find what we wanted. After a selection was made, she notified us when the carpet arrived. As our home was not ready for the carpet to be laid, she made arrangements to hold the carpet for the appropriate time. The installers arrived right on time, set about their work, and did a terrific job of laying the carpet beautifully in our home. In addition, they cleaned everything and did not slam the walls and baseboards. We were impressed by the quality of the carpet, the economical price, the great installation, but the best part of our experience was in dealing with Paola Diaz. “The flowers in the gardening section seemed a little overpriced to me. I don't know if it's because all prices are going up everywhere if they just specifically are more expensive than Walmart. I couldn't find rounded pavers to make a circle around my tree. Customer service was helpful with getting prices that they didn't have posted. The customers were very friendly. One customer told me where I could find above raised beds soil. Another customer was helpful to tell me that the plants I was looking for were four rows down. I ended up getting these plants for 1.78 each.”

This place is so huge that the inside has a model street inside, with park benches, street lights, and multiple “stores” inside divided by light. The prices were very reasonable, and Anthony A was super helpful and knowledgeable about the types of lights, the kinds of parts we needed, and where we could find more options. The fixtures were a fraction of the cost of designers like Ferguson, and no less interesting.”

While walking in towards the front desk(which is actually in the back) I double took at some nice fancy tile that you may or may not see in other tile stores.
