“I had been craving sausage and kraut for a minute and stumbled across this place. It was open seating and we were greeted quickly. The waitress explained the difference between the sausages. The 3 sausage plate was very affordable. The food came out hot and delicious. The inside of the restaurant was nice it felt as if you step away in another place and time.”

“Went here for the first time. I just moved to the Uptown area and this place was great. My server was Jeremy. Probably the best server at any restaurant I have been to in about 3 years or so, which is saying a lot. He told me he was a newer fellow but definitely had his head on straight. Great service and was very kind through the whole process. The food was really good as well. Hoping to come back soon with more of my family to eat their great food and I hope to have the same server!”

“First time there. We wanted an authentic BBQ experience, and that was what we got. The ribs and burnt ends were some of the best I have had. It's been around since the 80's, so I felt like it was definitely a local experience. Staff was polite and price was worth the amount we got. I took home leftovers.”
