We were very close to restrooms and cabins and the hiking trails started only a few hundred feet away. The trails were well maintained and easy to follow. Our three dogs thoroughly enjoyed the stay and daily walks. No parking on the grass. Lots of campers brought their dogs and all were leashed and friendly. It was perfect!”

“We love this park! Used to go to the one in The Colony, but it was frequently tense there. Most people are very friendly here and watch/guide their dogs well, and of course you have the occasional Karen but they’re everywhere. Very clean on Fridays, can’t speak much for the other days. I rarely see owners picking up their dog’s poop here but the park is big enough to avoid it. Just watch your step! Overall very fun environment for the dogs.”

“Burleson Equine Hospital is great. We've used them for everything from Coggins and health papers to emergency colic visits. Our most recent visit was an emergency Sunday colic visit and the vet on call and vet tech met me there in less than 30 minutes. They had the horse diagnosed, they explained the problem with pictures and explained the treatment process. The gave me an estimate and started treatment immediately. They came in at the low end on the estimate and the horse is doing great. I have total confidence in this team.”

Bill Allen Memorial Park

“I really enjoyed playing disc golf with a friend here the other day. The place is reasonably maintained and free of trash. The course was great and has a mixture of difficult holes versus open drives. The isn't enough parking in the southern parking lot but there's another lot in the NW side of it. The place was pretty packed for a Wednesday afternoon but everyone was courteous as could be. I will definitely be coming back sometime in the future to play here again. Ps- there's no pars listed but I'm sure there's a list online somewhere.”

“A hidden gem! Beautiful park, loved the trails.. loved being rewarded with an awesome lake view. The terrain switches - loose sand, compact sand, red sand, etc. Went in December - not much for flowers or greenery, but was around 73 degrees..but no one else was at the park on Tuesday, 12-14-21. Can't wait to try new trails, and bring friends. We went on the bluebird trail..then continued onto the lake (we just followed signs that said - Lake that way..etc.) didn't know exactly where to go :)”

Lake Park Campground

Address: 1900 Kingfisher Dr, Lewisville, TX 75057, USA

“Stayed here for two weeks!! Beautiful park- a short walk to the lake - huge property with lots of room to wander. A nice young lady checked us in and luckily we did not encounter the issues some of the other reviews encountered. I’m guessing that the day we checked in the difficult lady had the day off? Anyhow we very much enjoyed our visit! Perhaps if anyone who manages the park reads the reviews that will talk to the park employees about customer service?”
