“I am not a local. We thought this was a Mexican food restaurant, but it is actually TexMex. The chips were half broken, but continued to be filled; Margarita was odd color but of OK quality. Food was good for TexMex. Our waitress/server was McKinzey and she was very attentive and helpful; she made our experience much better!! 3* for food… but 4* for totally experience.”

“Stay Grounded has become my go-to for great coffee, teas, lunch and desserts. They honestly have it all! They have breakfast too. If you're a hot tea person, try the London Fog! It's a fun place, chic and cozy, but seriously good menu. Just go! You'll love it.”

“Stopped by to get gasoline. Went inside for a snack. I bought 2 Dr Peppers. They have a variety of food. In the back they have hot cooked food. They have healthy snacks also. The casher seemed new. She was very friendly. When I am in the area I will stop by.”

“Pulling into the small town of Bonham famished for a great day at the near by state park, concerns about the quality of the food can arise. Unbeknownst to my fiancé and I, we were about to discover a hidden gem tucked away in north texas; La Cocina & Grill. What appears to be a small trailer ended up being an incredible evening cuisine for our family. La cocina is hosted by two wonderful ladies who deliver high quality service and expert knowledge on their customizable menu. The food comes in generous portions, great taste, and their fair price. We thank La Cocina for the great experience and look forward to dinning with them again.”

You most definitely will not be disappointed. We will have to make a stop again we live 3.5 hours away but it'll be worth the drive for these types of meals.”

“The consistency of their excellent service and amazing food is the reason we keep coming back! Plus, they just added TACOS to their menu! Y’all know how hard it is to find authentic tacos in Plano. Angie is literally the sweetest person ever! I love that this place is family owned! Definitely try their tacos, burgers, cheese fries, wings, onion rings, churros…. Honestly, just try it all!!”

“Delicious! Traveling through and happened upon this delightful roadside restaurant. Unassuming on the outside, charming on the inside. Everyone was smiley and pleasant here. Food is delicious! I ordered the Spaghetti with olive oil, garlic and basil... side of myshrooms... side of vegetables. Yum! Yum! Yum! Yum! Yum! Huge servings (lol) way more than this chick could eat. But I also believe that having too much is better than not enough 😉 my mouth is happy! my tummy is happy! my heart is happy. Hubby got the Stromboli. He says, "Yeah. It was very good!" Can HIGHLY RECOMMEND”

“Excellent place to grab an authentic Mexican meal. No watered down Tex-Mex here, just good home-style Mexican food with friendly staff and a peaceful atmosphere. Prices are good and they have specials for each day of the week (Taco Tuesday anyone??) Highly recommended! One of the best, hidden little hole-in-the-wall places in North Texas. ** Ask for their Birria Tacos, they're not on the menu, and you won't regret it !!”

“Our first visit to Lea's was on a Tuesday, when they had a Burger and Fries special for $5. The burger was a little small, but the fries were great as was the service. We ended up going back the next day, on Wednesday, for their 75¢ wing night.... It was awesome. We had the same wonderful waitress and tried several flavors .. all were good, especially their buffalo sauce which wasn't the typical Frank's style sauce, but a more rich, peppery sauce. We'll definitely be going back to try more of their menu.”

“Great food and the place looks really nice inside. Inside/Outside bar, patio, and stage. Should be a popular weekend spot and this area needs it!”

“Came here tonight for dinner. We started off with the loaded fries. The fries tasted great by themselves and had a good crunch, but they're queso and bacon made it even better...and I'm not a big fan of queso, but it was good!!! I ordered the Big Daddy Burger and my gf ordered the Big TX. First off, after those fries we were already pretty full. They they bring out our burgers and they are huge. They were cooked just right. My only issue is that the patties themselves didn't have much flavor (lacked a little seasoning). Aside from that it was great! We both ordered sweet tea to drink, it was perfect too. It wasn't too sweet, and didn't just taste like sugar water. Our waitress was super sweet, gave us a recommendation (said any of the pies would be great), but we said next time. She was on top of making sure our drinks were full too.”

“I've been getting tamales here for over 27 years. I live about a hour away and it's worth the drive. The juiciest best tasting tamales I have ever eaten and I have had a lot of different ones. If you get the chance stop buy and try them. Very friendly family owned operated. Even if you live a bit away it's a fun nice drive their and well worth it.”

“This is my favorite Thursday spot. The pork tacos, the quesadillas and nachos and all my favorites. The guacamole is the best I have ever eaten. Such a quaint little place in Trenton, TX. This would be the perfect place for a motorcycle ride to come eat a taco.”

“We get takeout here often, mainly because there are few choices in this small town. That said, the service is usually good, the food is really good, and most of the staff are friendly. It is a little bit of wait for your food, but it is always freshly made.”
