“Took our family of 6 here for some good food and a bit of fun. We were not disappointed. Vanessa was our server and she was great. Her recommendations were spot on and she was extremely attentive. We will be back for sure. Food was fantastic. Make sure you make reservations. Save room for Ice Cream. We didn't and it made us kinda sad but after our entrees we couldn't eat another bite.”

“Food was fantastic. I love it when you can eat a burger without everything falling out onto your plate. Had the buffalo fries, which were good as well. Only complaint would be the time it took for our food to arrive. Place definitely wasn't super busy, but we waited like 30 minutes for 2 burgers and 1 order of fries. All in all, I would probably eat there again.”

“Tried their nachos and street tacos. 2 beef fajita and 2 pastor. I would rate strong 7 for these items. Maybe could add guacamole to make it a 8 or 9. The lemonade was so good. The water was gross tastes like faucet water, yuck. Their bathrooms were clean and well kept. They had great AC on one of the hottest summer days (108 heat index). Great service from the staff felt very homey and laid back type of place. I'd love to see how the night crowd is seems fun. Will drop back in when we take our cruise during the fall.”

“Awesome experience!! Recommend by a local. Wasn't sure what to expect but the food came out and was one of the best Red Snapper I ever had! The service was next to none as well. I totally recommend this restaurant.. Fine dining at a very reasonable price point.”

“Nice place, nice staff, seated right away and the food was good. Only thing was i asked for stuffed flounder but got snapper instead. It was good either way but would have liked flounder”

“I work right across the street so as well as being in a convenient location right on the seawall, their food is absolutely amazing! The sauce is wonderful with a touch of spice but not too much, the pizza and pizza rolls are great and the portions are big as well. I usually get the side of meatballs with a bread stick for lunch and it fills me up. I have also had their crazy fries which were equally as good. Their pizza can be a bit pricey but they do offer a lunch buffet and honestly I'd rather pay more for the quality !”

“This is a fun place to stop off the beach and have a cold yummy snack on a hot day. The ice cream was refreshing, but a little pricey. Also, I would’ve thought they would have more of Ben and Jerry’s creative flavors. All in all, it’s a good ice cream shop.”

“Such a fun environment inside! The house mariachi band was incredibly talented and really did a lot to enhance the dining experience. The service was good and the food was amazing, even if it was just a tad pricey.”

“We went to Galveston on one of those days when mercury shot up to 120 degrees. It was a blessing to find this place as the heat was enough to drain us away. They have the most authentic food and drink. I highly recommend the russas. It's a drink that comes in a pineapple along with fruits and a tamarind candy. Boy! It was yummy and so refreshing!”

“Here's what I loved: a fixed gear bike with big fat wheels and a comfy seat. "Pay me when you get back," said the proprietor. And I did, with a big goofy smile on my face. 10 bucks for two bikes. My wife and I had a great time. Probably going back tomorrow to try the electric assist bikes. They look like fun!”

“Happy hour is from 3-6 and 9-close. The voodoo chicken is AMAZING. The batter is perfect and isn’t spicy. The bbq sauce that comes with it isn’t good. We came during happy hour so the fried pickles were only $3 and came with about 20 pickle slices (I only had 2 left before we took a photo!) the crab stuffed mushrooms were $5 and came with three mushroom. They were pretty good. The voodoo chicken bites came with quite a few for $4. We also got the great balls of fire for $5. The mushrooms and chicken were the best!”

“Great food, I had the grilled shrimp, white rice, and broccoli. The grilled shrimp was the best I've had in a long time. The sweet potato fries were decent. The staff was extremely helpful and friendly. Waitress kept coming by to make sure we had plenty to drink.”

“New Orleans vibe dinner is the place to go for a made to order meal. They serve a full breakfast in the morning, and if you're hungry for a hearty breakfast for dinner, this is the place. We went twice this week, for dinner then back again for breakfast. Service both times was excellent. Ms Kay Kay kept our tea glasses filled at the dinner time and checked in on us frequently. A few days later we went back for a late Saturday breakfast and Samuel provided the same level of prompt and attentive service during a crowded time of day!!”

“It's a good tourist spot. The service is pretty good. The beer selection is not bad but they don't have a lot of craft beer to choose from. For the seafood lover there is everything on the menu from blackened fried or grilled. if your adventurous please give the appetizer menu a try there are some very unique items on the menu.”

“Service is amazing! Food..... oh my goodness!! Large portions, flavors that make you go back for the next bite and the next until you realize you've eaten it all! Atmosphere is calm, pleasant. This is not a cheap place but if you want a top notch seafood place, this is definitely the place to go!!”

“Decided to stop by this place on a whim, and it was excellent. Chicken breast was very tasty, both types of sausages were excellent, and the boudin balls were not bad either. everything looks so good, I decided to get a piece of bread pudding. The bread pudding it was very flavorful and was definitely a good end to the meal. If you are driving by, give this place a shot it's great!”

“Living in San Antonio area you would think they have so many amazing Mexican food but they don’t I’ve tried dozens of restaurants and food trucks so I was super happy when visiting Galveston to find this food truck. I was worried I would be disappointed even though there are so many good reviews. The food was amazing!! When I come back I will def be visiting this taco truck again.”

“Excellent choice for the view and the food. Great atmosphere. The seafood was abundant and delicious, definitely more seafood on my pasta than I was expecting, but being from Missouri, we don't get fresh or abundant seafood no matter which restaurant you go to, so it was an extra nice change for me. It was nice to not have to figure out parking or pay and walk, they validate the ticket for the parking lot. Absolutely recommend!”

“Very nice, staff was awesome and very attentive. Manager came and saw us and the blackened tuna tacos were mouthwatering delicious. Be aware of the fresh cut jalapenos. Unless you like the heat. Definitely worth a try.”

“Food, service, and ambiance was perfect. I wish some of the patrons would have dressed and acted better but, it is a restaurant in a resort hotel on an island. Overall, it was one of the better fine-dining experiences I’ve had.”
